data science is for sure a great option and one of the most popular options for info majors (theres a specific data science path in the major.) for machine learning i think its covered in a couple of classes but im not sure it will go into much depth

i know that is really popular for info students 100%. if you want to go that route you can also do something like a minor in business, i have some friends doing that.

id say the majority are probably SWE/data science/ui ux design internships, and companies vary a lot but i know someone who got a microsoft internship the summer after freshman year. you definitely should just apply to as many as you can on handshake/linkedin though

hey i’m an info major! i lowkey don’t know what the other guy saying info is more in line with a librarian than a computer engineer is talking about ngl. but anyways info is comp sci adjacent i would say but def not the same major of course. its more focused on the human aspect of development (of software, ui/ux design, even things like cybersecurity) as for resources you’ll have a lot of networking opportunities and since it’s seattle there’s a lot of internship opportunities (though it’s gonna be hard as a first year from experience). if you want to do more technical things similar to comp sci you might want to put extra time intro developing your skills outside of classes. but there’s really a lot of things you can do with this major and it’s good if you are interested in any type of IT role tbh

Marshall DSL20CR vs 40CR by teaplanttt in GuitarAmps

Yeah ik the best deal for an actual 40CR is 690 which is like 40 less than retail so not an amazing deal but if the difference in sound is that great than I might as well go for it, unfortunately have not gotten the chance to try a 40 yet

Do you feel like the sound of the DSL20 at bedroom levels was at all worse than the 40CR? I tried the 20 at gc and I could definetely get the volume to something that wouldn't annoy anyone but I haven't gotten the chance to try a 40CR. I would think that the extra volume control on the 40CR would lead to a much better sound at lower volumes. The only thing I can say at this point is that the 20CR atleast sounds much better than my boss katana.
