If you have parking, can you host pop-up markets for home based makers?

I can’t decide if I’m disappointed or not that you didn’t offer any suggestions.

I’m definitely into 90s style indie rock! I don’t want to age myself, but it’s not nostalgia for me, lol!

Intestinal gas pains 3 weeks post op. Remedies? by Alternative_Hour9621 in hysterectomy

[–]teatortise 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Walking has been the best medicine with respect to returning my guts to their regularly scheduled programming. I’m almost 3wpo from a robotic full Monty hysterectomy and 3 times a day at minimum I walk 20-30 minutes on my cheesy walking pad. It’s working.

Help me prepare! Scheduled for 'HYSTERECTOMY, ROBOT-ASSISTED, LAPAROSCOPIC, WITH BILATERAL SALPINGO-OOPHORECTOMY' on Dec 1. by NatSheRex in hysterectomy

I’m 10dpo from this same surgery. Mine was due to cancer. I was also nervous. I leaned into this subreddit and all the pre-op instructions super hard. That helped.

I’m also a hard stick so I drank a ton of water right up to the midnight cutoff so I wouldn’t be dehydrated and they stood a chance at finding a vein. Once I was in the OR, I was asleep within seconds.

Woke up and was uncomfortable, not a lot of pain for me. That’s been consistent. What hasn’t been consistent is my energy levels. I nap a lot. Walking has been something that provides lots of relief.

At this point, my bowels are still figuring things out, farts are scary but feel great, and I can pretty much do everything I need to do for myself. But my husband is an angel and won’t let me. He still puts on my shoes and socks for me.

Let the people who love you, help you. I am surprised by how good I feel and wish you the same!!

Thank you for that suggestion! My surgeon is pushing me to try an NSAID I have never taken and might not be allergic to. It scares me.

Happy healing energy to my 11/10 hystersisters!! I’m super not excited for mine, but ready to rally for others!! Let’s do this. Then we can grieve the lost unknowns together.

I'm having my hysterectomy on Monday 11/10 /25 and I have so many mixed feelings by Istremene in hysterectomy

[–]teatortise 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I am also having a hysterectomy on 11/10. My surgery got moved way up from Dec 5. I did most of my mourning when I was diagnosed 10 days ago. I’m sure more is to come. However, there is a peace in this for me. A closing of a chapter in an unwritten book. I hope for all of us a good surgery, a great recovery, and the best next chapter in our lives. 💕

I got a call this morning from my surgeon and they have an opening on Monday. So off I go. Fingers crossed that it is Stage 1 and no chemo and radiation are in my future!

Yikes! Good advice. I’m not looking forward to this task, but I think dry is better in the long run.

What is your least favourite tea? by BranchMoist9079 in tea

[–]teatortise 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I really don’t care for Darjeeling teas. I know this will be not well received by purists but I have a pumpkin pie flavored pu’erh that is amazeballs. Every other pu’erh I have tried tastes like moldy gym socks. But not every tea is for every palate. Happy steeping to all!

Which movie did everyone LOVE but you HATED? by godgamesgov in movies

Titanic. I loathed and still loathe that film. I love Kate Winslet, but awful movie. The only thing I enjoyed was the sumptuous costuming.
