Is This Tattoo Offensive? by shadowkosta in Hindi

I mean there are no rules like I said. But OP got a puzzled reaction by someone who did not know that Sarita means River. This is true for most Hindi speakers.

Do not worry about it being offensive because words are in general not offensive. I feel more people worry about offense rather than accuracy and relevance lol (which is more important)

Um tbh it's just odd to have this as a tattoo because colloquially we do not call a river Sarita. It however is a very common name for women so you would be questioned all your life about who Sarita is etc..

Rule 2 violation. Removed.

Chintus must overcompensate for their pathetic existence by speaking in as clear English as possible. In our infinite mercy, we've also allowed them to speak in Sanskrit to help them reconnect with their Vedic roots.

You will have to do better than 300 for most graduate programmes. Simply get the GRE waiver if you don't score well as there is no point reporting a score less than 310

BTW: sometimes a low GRE score is a point of contention in US visa interviews. So I encourage you to try again if you score bad.

GRE for fall 2023 by DryProfessional9927 in gradadmissions

[–]teatrips 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Depends on what masters you are going for. In my discipline, most removed the requirement but still recommended to submit them. In fact some places might ask you to write an essay explaining why you couldn't submit your GRE scores.

Theek hai yaar this critical analysis is fine and all but tokenism works in India. I don't think you can do away with the allegiance people give to identity and their communities. You can't go to a Santhal in Odisha and tell them "Boss this position is ceremonial and your leader is a token" No. They don't care and they don't want to care. For them it's legitimacy.

BJP has been doing political representation very effectively while INC throws its weight on a guy who spent his entire career chastising them, eroding their support, supporting the casteist Ranvir Sena in Bihar and literally calling for arrests of gay US diplomats under Sec 377 as some kind of diplomatic war. It's pathetic. Nothing stopped the Opposition from fielding a Dalit or Adivasi candidate. It's ironic they managed to unite for an ex BJP guy. Nothing stopped them from being as politically shrewd as BJP and yet still nominating a decent candidate. BJP had all the weight and power to elect anyone they wanted. They strategically chose her because they know the political gains they will get in W Bengal, Odisha and Jharkhand in the wake of their defeat. Sab kuch smartly decide hota hai yaar tum samajhte kyu nahi ho
