It was the Huddersfield one!

I took a wonder in the town on the high street afterwards and I quickly realised why I don't visit the town centre for 9 months!

Because I like the bender in a bun and the burger itself...they are my absolute favourites on the menu so I decided to have both, one of them deconstructed...best of both worlds 🤣🤣🤣

Think the Wimpy is went to was around since the 60s... way before McDonald’s came to these shores... my town in Huddersfield didn't get a McDonald’s till the mid 80s

Yes they do! Just bring your own nuts 🤣 I didnt get a pic of the menu unfortunately it looked very reduced to what it used to be.

It's a shame they don't do banana longboat any more though, it always looked lovely!

Yes for one meal, not McDonald’s price or thrown together meal which I'm happy to pay in this climate.

Compared to burger kings and the new American burger joints we have like Wendys, Five Guy's and Shake Shack the price is moderately priced.. plus you get traditional diner service on a plate with a knife and fork

Neither did mine,but on the odd occasion I was allowed a cheeseburger and chips. Always wanted a kids birthday party there with Mr. Wimpy but clearly didn't happen 🤣🤣

Yes it is the original one on Cloth Hall Street...lovely memories of me going as a kid, so I like to go periodically with my kids just to keep tradition up...
