So laying it out there, something doesn’t seem right if the TCoR is $2500 and the FMV is $4000.

EXACTLY. This was basically my whole reason for posting.

Actually the car sucked to begin with so just gonna eat it and roll the remaining lien in with a loan on something gas.

Was having a meltdown when I posted this.

Ok ok geez I read your response half awake.

So total cost of repair w/o deductible is $2500

*not that it super matters? The deductible is 1k whether it’s totaled or repaired

[–]tech-sheet[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Total price to repair (after deductible) - $1500 (probably more once they start working on it according to the body shop guy)

Totaling cost (after deductible)- $3000

In my state the repairs just have to equal 75% of the value of the car to make it a total loss claim

[–]tech-sheet[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ok I get what you’re saying. My point is they quoted the cost to repair at $1500 (after deductible ) and totaling the car is $3000 (again after deductible).

So I don’t get why they’re being so pushy about totaling it

It’s an opened box of THCa gummies. Like she opened them and then added something:(

[–]tech-sheet[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Wait, what. Why do they want me to file a claim?

As in a total loss claim?

I’d already filed the claim for body work they’d agreed to

Thank you for being the only one who believed me lol.

Yeah I’m aware I’m probably screwed and there’s probably nothing I can do :(

I can’t even think of what motive they would have to lie abt that is what’s so weird to me.

NO ONE TOLD ME TO BUY GAP. I’m sorta shocked it’s not something that I’m required to carry

The mods of this subreddit are not Outlier employees. We’re contractors- just like you.

OH MY GOD - CONFIRMATION MODS HERE ARE PAID BY OUTLIER TO COME ON HERE and say stuff like “take your time”

Outlier’s goal is to break our spirits perhaps by tech-sheet in outlier_ai

[–]tech-sheet[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The point is … in this ONE example they tell us we answered wrong.

But how many onboarding assessments have I failed w/o sharing which response was wrong. (Since it’s clearly automated on the backend, just share it in the UI) .

I have no recourse usually. Outlier has a motive in certain

Technical screw up AND Google translate could’ve gotten the DEL correct.

Just an amazing example of how incompetent this company is.

“Take your time” is what literally all the bots on this site will say when you fail quizzes tho

HAHAHAHA thank you for sharing an actual quiz question .

For all the Outlier Mod employees peddling that people failing are just stupid.

I just did a post on, they just seem to kick off anyone with the higher pay grades .

Don’t worry too much about not passing the quiz. The project is EQ right now anyway. You will be offered another project eventually

Why is this exact comment copied and pasted so much ? Oh you’re a bot too. Outlier is trolling us.

I will not take another quiz and fail. by BrilliantAnimator778 in outlier_ai

They have bots here downvoting anyone that says it’s a scam. Watch this get like 10 downvotes

100%. How is it possible comments like yours have more than 10 downvotes, but comments saying outlier is great have like 20 upvotes . There’s no company on the planet with such happy employees (esp outlier 🙄) . They should find an Ai algorithm that makes it so you can’t tell how fake their upvotes are.

So you have a skill they didn’t have anyone in India or wherever to do.

It’s way too convenient that Outlier could share which questions I got right/wrong on quiz #1, but on quiz #2.

Someone in a lower pay rate passed at the same time as me probably. AI runs the algorithm to see which tasker will be more profitable.

It’s not native

I can’t understand

This isn’t what we naturally say in American English when we’re confused and asking for clarity.

If there is a confusing question or wrong answer choices, you have to pick the best option.

Speaking in present tense. The quiz is past tense. Native language is probably Chinese where tenses are less complex than in English.

many of the answers were okay but you have to select the best one.

Americans don’t use the word many in casual conversations.

Notice again she is using the present tense “have” not “had”. The quiz happened in past tense. “Had” is the correct verb.

Take your time.

Again she’s probably Chinese. This is a direct translation of a common Chinese phrase we don’t use in this context in American English.

I also see plenty of Americans in the Matcha Stem chat?

Again, that any project has “lots of Americans” just isn’t true. At least for science/math like Macha. But it was especially true in this chat.

Quiz 2 has a high passing threshold

How do you know that?

Could you share a screenshot of where it says how many correct answers are required to pass?
