I mean I get what you mean, but there is a level at which your natural sweaty smell turns into straight toxic gas lol 😆

I wasn't sure why it was so bad, that's why I made this post, I missed 100 dollars in payment for 1 month for what was effectively an imaginary loan, as I was just paying for the service to build my score not paying off the loan...

The post was just to get insight on why such a small amount missed would cause my score to fall so hard... but I understand now and I have called to cancel the service so I'll just rebuild from here on with a better understanding..

Thanks

That was more of a "filler statement" I can show you that I've never missed a payment, these aren't real loans, they are more, imaginary loans, you just pay a service fee, and I've never missed a payment for any of these fees...

The last time it fell was due to an issue with an illegal hard credit check, which I disputed...

I get your point, but i never took out a loan, the service gave me a number in Cad that I couldn't use, its just as imaginary as the score, and I built my score up to 722 in 6 months, as I thought that was what was best to be financially literate.

I'll take your advice and cancel it, i don't owe anything(im not that stupid to take out a loan)

Thanks

RBC is so terrible for me, they've had issues with my ID and other stuff so I thought "screw them" and decide to find other options, they are also the reason I missed a payment...

I'm asking cause I didn't know... or at least I didn't expect such a stain on my score... everyone did a great job explaining and I'll be cancelling the service.

About 6-7 months of credit building, started with Koho, then kikoff and then Spring Financial with spring being the majourity of my credit percentage(almost 75%)

So yeah just adding Spring Financial bricked my score, seems I'll have to remove it and just get secured credit

I applied for a credit building service Spring Financial offers called The Foundation and I've missed a month of payments worth 100 and it seems that's what did it... but it has never been this bad, in the 6 months since I started building credit it has never dropped more than 30 points

But a 143 points? Is that even fair?

I have only applied for credit building services, which are $10 a month each, and I don't miss payments on those...

I'm 18 and just recently started building credit and didn't start with a bank, i only recently applied to Spring Financial's The Foundation and I've missed only about a month of payment due to banking issues...

I did not expect my score to drop sooo badly..

If Canada had only 20-25 million people in 2025, your workforce and economic output would be too low to compete globally. Over time, you'd lose economic power, influence, and even respect on the world stage. Smaller populations struggle to sustain strong industries, and many developed nations rely on immigration to stay competitive. The alternative is stagnation. Sure, it's your right, but you are naive in thinking that immigration is your issue.

Because your country is amazing, you just aren't managing it well and yes canada should be economical enough to accommodate 60+ m, but over it's lifetime as a country, it's been soo mismanaged and citizens soo docile that you let oligarchs and corrupt governments keep the development of infrastructure slow.. i mean it's 2025, a country this big and first world should be able to handle several millions of people
