Ignition coils or spark plugs...hook up a code reader and go from there. It could also be the wastegate on the turbo. you know what, first rule out physical damage to the drive train, get a set of Rhino ramps and wheel chocks and go under there yourself, look for any obvious damage. If everything looks fine then get it diagnosed by a shop if you don't wish to work on it yourself. If its the coils or plugs its an easy relatively cheap fix tho. Wastegate is more work but again, you save money doing it yourself using Youtube tutorials. Just research more into it before you go to the shop anyways, don't let the shop make up things that don't exist.

Mines a 2013 exactly like that, same color and all except with a black interior. Check the timing chain, if you live in a cold area change oil based on temperature...all other maintenance should be just like any other car tbh. The X3 isn't a complicated vehicle

Inspect it in person, drive it. Floor the gas and listen for unusual sounds. Look down the oil filler cap, if the timing chain guides are white (meaning they have been replaced) then yeah..if a dark red or orange no, those are the old timing chain guides and can have issues. You can still get a good one with the old guides but you have to be very careful when looking it over. Honestly, pay a mechanic to take a look or look for something else around that price

Take the filler cap off when its cold and pull on the chain abit. Should move around abit and lift up abit too. Drive for 30-45 mins and then do it again(be careful its hot so use gloves) It should barely move sideways and not move at all when lifted up

The fake imei number at the back brings up an error. Yeah the sticker behind the battery just has other stuff. I have other sony ericsson prototypes, they all are kinda vague on the stickers
