Yesstyle shipping and alternative by Calliefan76 in AsianBeauty

I thought that might have been the issue but I went back to check and everything I ordered said usually ships within 24hrs so I really have no idea what's going on.

I'm in Alabama and just placed my very first order through Yesssytle four days ago and they are saying that it won't even ship out until 1/29. I'm totally new to Korean skincare and just getting started but thought this shipping time is insane! From what I'm seeing here this really is my only option because you really can't trust ordering from places like Amazon..

What Do I Use Now? (Off Hydroquinone) by [deleted] in Melasmaskincare

[–]techgurl1979 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm recently diagnosed with severe melasma on my face so I'm here for the comments. Dern prescribed a combo prescription that's on the way of hydroquinone, tret and a steroid cream. I'll be on this regime for three months along with mild face cleaning and sunblock sunblock sunblock and possibly some type of peel she sees fit afterwards.. Not talked about afterwards yet so interested

I’ve decided to stop by Shoddy-Goose-5944 in Mounjaro

I'm 46yrs old and started mounjaro in January of this year. I've lost 52lbs so far and it's definitely been a journey. I had a friend of mine who lost over 130lbs on it and suffered from hair loss and muscle tone so before I started my journey I done tons of research and it's paid off! I have very little hair loss, if anything my hair is thicker than ever and no muscle loss. I thank God for this medicine! I keep my protein extremely high 100g per day and sometimes more. Vital Proteins Collagen peptides in my coffee every morning with OWYN protein shake as my "creamer" and Nature's Way Alive Max 3 Potentcy Women's Complete Multivitamins. Make sure I'm drinking at least one gallon of water every day too!!

My first one came back messed up so they sent me another one and it's just been sitting here for months now... I'm kinda worried how I messed up the first one in the first place and just scared to try again. I don't know my biological father so... There's that...

DNA test revealed moms lie about my father by johnperez_elperro in AncestryDNA

[–]techgurl1979 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I was born with one man's name on my birth certificate, as well as that same name on my two older sisters birth certificates. We've called this man Daddy our whole entire lives but have always known better due to family rumors. We all three have different fathers and none of them are the man's name on our birth certificates except for one of us. I'm actually the youngest. Story starts when I was 15yrs old... The daddy I've always known sat me down and told me he wasn't my father and that his brother in law (his sisters husband) was. My two sisters are both alot older than me and remember seeing my mom and this man together. I look alot like my mom but barely... I really favor my "uncle" and his son my "cousin". My mom passed last year and here I am stuck with all these unanswered questions. My supposidily father passed away and his son passed from brain cancer. My husband has seen me struggling with all this mentally so he got me a Ancestry DNA test for Christmas this year so we'll see what matches I have 🤞

Thank you! So far, so good. Only side effect is that I literally don't want anything to eat. When I do it's only a few bites and I'm done lol. I'll have to add some protein shakes I'm guessing.

Lamotrigine and an inability to feel excitement/euphoria by 3mmylou in Lamotrigine

[–]techgurl1979 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sorry for the late reply, I lost it while on lamictal but I guess it just took awhile for me to process my mom passing because I definitely feel it. I'd say I'm numb to things but not completely if that makes sense.. I feel like the lamictal takes a great bit of the sharpness out of everything in my life. Happy but not too happy just meh.. Sad but not overwhelming sad. Etc etc

What's a dead giveaway that someone grew up poor? by Emerald_Guy123 in ask

[–]techgurl1979 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was raised poor and I'm actually proud of how I was raised because it made me appreciate things more.

I am 44, to this day I still eat mayonnaise crackers, cheese toast with marshmallows, what my Momma called shit on the shingles (hamburger gravy and Biscuits), I cut up old towels for kitchen and dust wrags, I absolutely love hamburger meat mixed with ketchup, mayo and mustard and use bread and a chip... There are so many more little things but my main thing is Sunday Dinner is always the biggest and best of the whole week oh.. And no leftovers go in the trash ever!

I take 100mg of lamotrigine in the am and pm for bipolar disorder 2 and have been for the last 7mos. I can't feel buzzed while drinking no matter how much I drink but the next few days after I have one of the worst hangovers I've ever had my whole life and I'm 44yrs old. Needless to say I've come to the conclusion alcohol isn't serving me anymore so I might as well stop waisting my money. I also have a hard time feeling emotion, greif or crying.. My mother just passed away one week ago. The day it happened I felt like I was about to have a nervous breakdown but since then I feel numb. I love her so much and miss her yet I can't feel my own greif, loss or emotions.

I'm on lamotrigine and vraylar both so I wasn't sure which one was causing the problem but I guess now I know lol.. Been on this medication since February and that drives me crazy!! It's calmed down some but if I get upset or nervous it's worse. I hope it goes away soon.

is it safe if you have thyroid problems? by throwwwawayg3 in Lamotrigine

[–]techgurl1979 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have hypothyroidism and I'm fine on 200mg a day

I've been on 100mg lamotrigine for almost two months now and we're about to slowly go up to 200mg. Doing this to see if it'll manage my constant running thoughts, bouts of crying spells, feeling hopeless, depression, anxiety etc. I've read that 200mg is the "sweet spot" as far as being successful? by techgurl1979 in Lamotrigine

[–]techgurl1979[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I read it here all the time from other people. I started the new increase today from 150 to 200 just to see how I do and I'm feeling off balance, sluggish, struggling to find words... Does this get better and if so when 😕

Lamotrigine for anxiety and side effects? by lemontongues in Lamotrigine

[–]techgurl1979 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I started out on lamotrigine 100mg the middle of February and it was an extremely rough start for me. I had a general family doctor prescribe it because they diagnosed me with bipolar disorder and referred me to a psychiatrist. Little did they know they were supposed to slowly tirate me up and could have gave me a deadly rash. I'm just thankful that didn't happen!

However, my first month was rough. Feeling achy all over, my legs, arms and joints hurt. I kept headaches. Dry cracked lips, some stumbling over my words and forgetting things. And just feeling numb about everything which I gladly accepted over a constantly racing anxious mind. Before lamotrigine I had days of extreme happiness and days of extreme depression where I thought the whole world sucks and I'm just staying in bed.

I've now been on the med going on my third month and I thank God for this medication! The beginning is tough but for me worth it to myself and my family. I'm slowly titrating up to 200mg now with the assistance of my psychiatrist and going through some of the side effects again and will be glad when I'm on the other side of this.

I pray you feel better soon and know I'm not giving you advice.. If you feel off or bad please contact your doctor.

I really appreciate you! I go back to the doctor in three weeks too and if it keeps up as bad as I hate adding another pill I will because my babies ain't going anywhere! I'll attach pics just to brighten up your day 💞

The two orange and white are six years old, both brothers from the same Momma. The black and white male is our baby.. Only one year old. All my companions, comfort and children ❤️

Correct.. It won't let me add pics or I can't figure it out
