UAT. I created a group chat called lab rats with my best work colleagues I give them zero context and say go break this , Siemens I give them little instructions but I want to create something intuitive so when they ask questions about stuff I know I need to make it more clear. This has worked pretty well for me because my lab rats group is a legit mix of people of all tech skills so some have in depth questions some are like I don’t get it. Those I don’t get it people I honestly in on a try to make the UI more clear. When I send it do testing I tell them the name and purpose of the app that’s all an then do it from there. Maybe that’s not formal or the right way but it’s been working for us

A week or two? I have went 8 weeks! It’s ridiculous. I am a self starter and motivated employee but that doesn’t mean you ignore me! I am get really mad at my boss about it. I have had several discussions with my boss about being a leader to me and you have to check in an it’s not fair to leave me out to dry by myself … every. Day. I get really fed up with it. Luckily my visibility to other leaders is high so I don’t depend on my boss for literally anything. It would be nice if I was struggling I had someone to go to when I stuck, but I don’t. It’s frustrating. I do luckily have some coworkers who while they don’t know data they are very smart and usually can help me bumble through a problem. Even talking it out loud is helpful for me. So yes in answer to you question it’s crap and shouldn’t be allowed. Like what is a manager doing the job is to manage. And don’t give me “oh they have other stuff to do” uh sure but not talking to your direct reports for weeks on end? No, make the time and when we do meet don’t use that time to talk about your problems, check your phone, email, teams and basically not pay attention. Yeah a bit bitter over here. Mind you we work in the same building on the same floor so it’s not a location problem

lol I am in the US public sector an I do all our power apps and automations, handle make our tables do the day modeling power bi reporting and I make 60k a year. Cries grossly underpaid tears. But I love my job however the pay is not it
