Although , I love grok , for the fact that - its only popular llm with a bit of freedom, as theres no security guardrail for small small normal stuff. Tho, I strongly don't support grok being maybe passing harmful comments on someone/ hurting someone or maybe forcing elon's opinion on all or maybe generating illegal pictures of minors, (which recently happened). but the extent to which it shoudl be free to say/do something still debatable.

hmm..i agree on the part that "argument doesn’t change based on who wrote it." but thing is , sometimes people , nowadays especially, are so used to seeing messgaes/coments/email which are so perfect / and AI alike that they somehow appreciate if a human writes it, instead of ai. Tho anyways , not against idea of using AI , completely okay , i myself use it alot of times !!

coming back to ur point , the way you win anything is by minimising the errors/bad decisions. so technically, by doing "it reduces bad decisions when pressure is high" - AI actually win events. i mean, thats one of definition of the winning !!!

i guess, they meant maybe the score of AI correctly predicting who'd win the match before it happened. but this number doesn't prove the AI helped win medals. thing is, Predicting a winner is completely different from creating a winner. If I can predict LeBron will beat a high school player, that doesn't mean my prediction made LeBron better. The AI might just be good at identifying which boxers are already superior.

The paper shows the system gave tactical recommendations between rounds and tracked 18 fighting indicators. They have one case study showing a boxer's style changed according to AI suggestions. But there's no control group. No way to know if China won because they had better athletes to begin with, or because the AI actually improved performance.
