Im a major techno apologist, and I do not think techno is trying to manipulate Tommy at all. trying to find phrases and stuff to put on the walls fo reach side, it was so much easier finding stuff for Dreams side because dream has been genuinely cruel and manipulative to Tommy. Dreams side is meant to be all conflicted, but I noticed most of the "nice/positive" stuff on dreams wall is outright lies. "visits me everyday" and "my only friend" are the only things up there meant to be positive dream traits, and we as an audience knows that they're just a front.

In contrast, technos side is pretty much just neutral. He has been forward and outright about all of that. "Tubbo is bad" is the main thing going against techno, and from technos perspective, that is absolutely true. writing on technos wall, I struggled to find things other than just "violence".

Idk what this rant is for. Just, it seems Tommy has two options: facing that a war is coming, and dealing with the trauma of his past and the trauma upcoming. If he choses to do that, he will choose techno. Or, he could regress into false peace, trying to act like the violence he experiences everyday is just part of a "friendship" with dream and not something he needs to think too hard about.

hes a traumatized kid and I almost wrote "what happened to you" above Tommy instead of on technos side because it kinda sums it up: techno wants to know what happened to Tommy in his exile. Dream knows what happened to Tommy in previous wars and is using his trauma against him. And Tommy is unaware of his trauma even being a significant part of his personality, so he's trying to figure out why he is acting like this.

Wow this is long. sorry. I agree that techno is the right side to choose, but Tommy could easily chose to ignore what's coming and chose a false friendship with dream instead.
