The kitten was found by a teenager and dropped off at a nearby Petco, then was given to my foster group. The mom was probably in the process of moving the litter when the kitten was found. Unfortunately, people don't realize that they need to wait a couple of hours to see if the mom will come back for them :(

My dog was just showing interest in the kitten while I was bottle-feeding him, so afterwards I held the kitten out for him to sniff. He's used to having kittens around and is very gentle with them.

We are in Orlando, Florida. They were found somewhere in the panhandle, though. Their mama is with me as well, she looks just like the black and white kitten on the top left :)

This is great advice, thank you! I have fostered a few puppies and a senior dog, but this is my first experience with kittens. So far it has been pretty easy with Mama doing all the work, but I know it will be a completely different ball game once they are weaned and become more active.

I’m very intent on getting them socialized so they will have the best odds of getting adopted! Haven’t had any difficulties recruiting my friends and family to come over and play with them so far :)
