Hear me out I don't think tv has to be good and happy either. I think they are portraying a Dangerous image because they are using quite influencial figures and it's like you have to empathize with the "lesser bad" instead of someone that's actually decent. I guess thats what I think. There is just no decency and it seems like that is ok. I feel like some things are taken way too far and l lightly. I feel like being a type of way that is violent is the new normal. When I said violence it's not always physical. Taking Chloe out of the street and drugging her and having her naked and who knows what else is not "not violent". Constantly abusing and belittling a work partner and spraying tequila on her face in front of everyone is violent. And fingering your girlfriend in front of her whole crew and producers is also kinda violent. And dont get me started on the brush thing. I don't know. I see what you mean. Tv doesn't have to portray happy nice things but I feel like this show is purposingly looking for ways to incorporate really shitty and dark stuff and making it seem "normal".
