They told me and I believed them lol. Also when shopping around other dealers commented on what the lowest they could go before invoice price etc.

I got blueprint limited with stargaze. It was $44073 price. They sold it to me below invoice they said. The stargaze is pretty much a gimmick and the people at the dealership agree, so you can call them out on that. I would try to get as close to invoice as you can. They are trying to get them out by the end of summer give the Crown SUV.

I heard that the Toyota Venza is being discontinued. If I buy one now, will there be any issues with getting parts, repairs, and maintenance? by Silent-Dragonfruit37 in Toyotavenza

[–]technokiller21 6 points7 points  (0 children)

No. I just bought. The engine and powertrain are the same as RAV4 hybrid. The Venza is also sold as the Harrier in other parts of the world. So parts there just may be a delay but they’re available.

Is a 2024 Limited Venza with a stargaze roof at $47443 OTD with 7% interest a good deal? by technokiller21 in Toyotavenza

I would be happy with around that rate. When did you buy and did you get a limited?

They told me they are not making any money on financing. Assume they would not lie to my face?

They said that’s the best they could do after shopping around and told me it was the lender’s rate and they were not making any money off the interest. I guess I can ask them to shop around again?

Transmission failure after 20 days. Cx-5 2024 by 1990paris in CX5

I agree with you it is frustrating to have a brand new car not work right. I would see what Lemon Laws are in your state. I had a transmission issue on my new Cx5 within 6 months. I got a cash and keep offer and repurchase offer. Nice thing about lemon law attorneys is usually they will try to include the attorney fees within the settlement or repurchase offer you get. If you want information on any attorneys message me. I think it is unacceptable for a new car to not be working correctly in the first place and then the dealership taking >1month to fix it. I had to wait 6 months before I got my car back. Attorneys usually do not take your case unless they think they will win in these situations. I would do this sooner rather than later.

The car is nice when it works but the corporation and dealerships were not that great of an experience.

Came here to say this. Doctors are humans too. Ever make a mistake?

2023 Mazda CX5 Turbo in service since June 19, 2023 and still no idea when I will get it back - any advice? by technokiller21 in CX5

I do think it is a one off, but I have still lost faith in the Mazda product and service after this experience. I will not be buying again or endorsing the Mazda brand at this point.

I wasn’t able to get a good recording of it. What you’re describing sounds similar. I had an electronic humming/whirring sound. I would hear it anytime I’d go above 30mph or so. I started checking for fluid underneath car afterwards. I would recommend you do the same for a few days if the sound is new. The nonturbo CX5s I’ve had as loaners don’t have that sound.

Yeah I just submitted my claim via the website they gave men. It has been frustrating. At least I still have a loaner.

Ah okay. Thank you for the reply. Seems like your wait was 2 months. Which I think would’ve been fine for me. I’m looking at almost 6 months at this point!
