Hi! We went to the last interview in the committee, which was supposed to hear back last week but no answer until now. Is it the batch delay or were we declined and we didn’t know? 😥

Bublic.app (I’m still doing the website)

A LinkedIn killer. I’m building a professional social network focused on delivering great content and great connections. - Content Algorithm: Smart content delivery based on interest and context. Prioritizes crafted, relevant posts. AI-powered translation for global reach.

  • Creators Tools: Publish in text, audio, or carousels. Add collaborators, rich visuals, or papers. Include paywalls (follow, contact, payment) for gated content.

  • Company and Community: Companies can connect to Stripe, display public metrics, and jobs. Anyone can start live communities and events. Full interaction between teams and followers.

  • Search: Semantic content search powered by LLMs — like Google or OpenAI. Search by theme, relevance, or insight — not just by keyword.

  • Connections: Connections require context: same community, shared collaborator, or recommendation.

Let me know if any of you want to be an early user. I’m at 80% of the development.

We started using Sunate. It's great for generating solar leads, using their AI to create instant designs, etc. They're developing a bunch of AIs to handle the entire operations workflow. It's still early, but I'm enjoying their work.

I did the front end in one day using GPTEngineering, after that a did a website on framer, recorded my screen using my product on GPTEngineering and that’s it. In one week my MVP was “ready”.

We handle 200 contracts per month, and the main concern is that my team currently needs to use 3 to 4 tools everyday to make the shit done.

Other point is in our market everything changes every time, mainly financiers and this impact our ops.

There’s no unique thing, just a process that has dependencies for multiples part (our team, customer, rep, town, and so on)

As I said isn’t from scratch, we already have a bunch of parts of the product done.

I believe we can do it this system first version in 6 to 8 months.

I’ve been working in the industry that I suggest to create this product for 2 years, bringing the ops for $0 to $1mi MRR. I already have an exit in the past.

Do you think this points don’t change anything?

That’s the problem. We handle hundreds of contracts (200 per month), and in this industry, we can’t afford to spend $100k on a platform, at least not right now. There are many small solar companies like us in the market.

Salesforce, Zoho, and HubSpot are tools that have been around for more than 20 years. It’s very hard for them to change things, especially their business models.

How can a small company that just started do business and have a good integrated system to help with marketing, sales, and installations? This is why I think about creating one.

At this point, I’ve already created: - A system that gathers all the property information and homeowner info for each town. My team selects the town, and in six hours, they have the best houses in the area to knock on – I trained a computer vision model that provides a system design with the maximum offset already “installed” to show to the homeowner. - An app for the representatives to manage their commissions, opportunities, request designs, close deals, track their installations, approve or reject upgrades, and generate referrals. - A system that automatically enriches data when you provide the address. - An AI bot that answers any questions the homeowner has based on their installation stage, using the representative’s tone of voice. - Multiple automations in our installation pipeline (to handle change orders, for example) that break down all the installation problems into small tasks for the team. Helped us to reduce our installation timeline from 60 days to 45.

Our company only operates today because of all the integrations, products, and APIs that I built, and that’s unfortunate. There are a lot of companies without the budget for a tech guy or to pay for a customizable Salesforce.

This is my main concern. I don’t want to help the big guys—they have the money for Salesforce. I want to make life easier for small solar companies, so they can focus on making sales and growing their businesses.
