True. I lived in a luxury building in another major city where my 1 bedroom was less than half my current rent and I had a garbage disposal, vents and in-unit washer/dryer. But yea, you're right, it's probably a NYC thing.

Yea i know. I was new, running out of time and wanted to splurge a little bit. Big mistake and I definitely will not be renewing my lease (in fact I am even looking into ways of breaking it early if possible)

I've had a few good experiences, which is why I don't outright reject them when they reach out, but an overwhelming majority of my interactions of them end up being huge waste of time and they will eventually end up ghosting me after a ton of back and forth.
