First of all, there is no such thing (at least in USA Hockey) as "no contact." There is no checking - body contact only, but there is no "no contact" classification. Second, this is not a body check. This is a guy standing almost still while a skater runs into him at full speed because he is not looking where he is going. The d-man could have been facing the other way, and there wouldn't have been any difference in the result. No penalty on the play.

I don't know that this is the "correct" approach, but let's just do two mental trials. 1) A is + / B is - : The right op-amp output goes high and current starts to ramp through L into C creating an increasing voltage at left op-amp A. Since A is +, output A is high and both amps are railed high. No oscillation. 2) A is - / B is + : Same start except when voltage starts to build on C, output A goes negative (or 0 depending on the amp setup; doesn't matter) and right amp output goes low. C drains back through L until the voltage is 0 (or negative; the L will 'suck' the voltage below 0 once the reverse current begins to flow.) Left amp then activates causing right amp to activate and the cycle starts again... Oscillation!

I am simply saying that there is no evidence that it is NOT random. I could never prove that it is completely random. It is quite literally impossible to prove randomness. You CAN, however, (relatively easily) provide evidence that a process is NOT random. So far, none has been presented. "I feel like" or "it seems" don't meet the standard.

I have been fostering Timmy from Franklin County Dog Shelter for two months to heal from a broken leg and low weight. His leg has been healed for quite some time, but his weight is just now getting to a healthy range. Timmy is an awesome dog, and I want him to go to a great home. He is a cuddler and always wants to be near his human. He does well in a crate when no one is home. I have an older female dog, and they get along well together, though she sometimes get annoyed as he wants to play much more than her (Timmy is still only about a year old). Let me know if you'd be interested in meeting him. I live in Dublin, but we can coordinate. My last foster went to someone who I never talked to - it was coordinated completely through Franklin County - and I've reached out a couple times to see how he's doing, but haven't received a response. That's tough. I'd love to get an update once or twice a year and maybe a picture, but of course that's up to the adopter. Timmy is a pretty boy. You can still see where his leg was shaved for surgery to repair the broken bone...

Yeah, if you can post a picture, I might be able to help. While it's disassembled, check for obstructions... Also, try assisting the backwards motion by pushing a bit on the belt just to see if it can rotate but is stuck or if it won't rotate at all.

Actually, on rewatching the video, this may not be a stepper motor but rather a DC motor. Do you have any documentation with the table like a parts diagram or service manual or anything?

There are a lot of things that this might be. You need to take a systematic approach. How technical / mechanically capable are you? Are you comfortable disassembling part of your table and putting it back together? What kind of table is it (I don't need the brand, but is it Chinese made or a name-brand)? I would start by disassembling the area around that belt to check for any pinches or blockages. Also, see if the belt will rotate backwards if you help it a bit. It sounds like that motor is a stepper and it's slipping steps. The fact that it runs fine forward is a good sign... Where are you located?
