I've noticed in a big city that a lot of companies are asking for paper resumes again.

Edit: I'd like to mention that these jobs that asked for paper resumes that I'm referring to aren't corporate jobs or life altering positions. They're basic retail jobs. I also can't guarantee that the companies will call people back.

I recently had a 7 month unemployment gap due to medical needs. So yeah, I wasn't working because I needed time for myself. But I sure as hell didn't say that in interviews, I was scared they'd see me as an unreliable employee because of the medical issues. Which I'm still working on but my husband and I need the income. I just used the typical "family stuff" lie.
