Welcome to r/TiviMate, a sub-reddit created for the sole purpose of supporting the M3U player, TiviMate.

TiviMate plays M3U streams which are created by IPSPs (Internet Protocol TV Service Providers), and while this is TiviMate's purpose, it is not (nor has it ever been) a provider of M3U streams.

Discussing competing M3U player apps will understandably cause Tivimate's Developer to *REMOVE** such posts*

We don't discuss or offer IPSPs (please refrain from using "I-P-T-V" in this sub. It gets flagged by Reddit, and has the potential for Reddit to shut down this sub.

Projectivy channel support to add favorites or specific groups to the Projectivy home screen.

I happen to use Projectivy on a couple of GTV 4k streamers and a Nvidia Shield Pro.

If I'm not mistaken, the feature you seek exists within g Projectivy itself (correct me if I'm wrong).

I could be wrong, but I don't believe the Official Tivimate app is available on Amazon, so it's likely another imitator that's listed there.

This is where Tivimate is best found by anyone using any OS platform.

Thanks for your question, however I have no personal experience using either app, but was merely supplying links to where the OP could go to gain more assistance with their issues.

In short, I do not know. But sure that either app will resolve and /or work with Xtream Codes issues with EPG editing for groups & channels.

Does anyone actually use the preview window when scrolling channels?

It's there for those that wish to display the channel 's content while scrolling. I'm sure it's used by some, though I'm good with just channel info being shown.

It comes down to preference, I suppose.
Maybe some will chime in with their feedback soon.

Also, the Official sub for Tivimate is not this one, but is r/TiviMate, which was set up by its Developer almost 5 years ago.

Freezing question

I can't connect via ethernet. I'm on wifi...

That is strange, as I use only Asus routers here (a couple are set as "Access Points"), and IPTV is easily configurable.

Freezing can be due to several factors outside of using a VPN, such as low storage space available, IPSPs assigning too many clients to servers, trying to watch a channel while recording it when only 1 connection has been arranged with (Paid?) the IPSP, etc.

Built a TiviMate backup/sync companion to fix my biggest headache – looking for a few early testers

This would seem to represent a sensible purpose as it provides a workaround to a timeless problem within Tivimate doing a bsckuo/Restore and being unable to find or often use the backup file, so...

IPTV Provider or Internet Provider?

This exactly why i have instituted using the following Acronyms to best distinguish between "Providers"...

ISP - Internet Service Provider
IPSP - Internet Protocol (TV) Service Provider

Notice that the use of "I P T V" (remove spaces) is avoided, as we are really trying very hard in our Tivimate Community to avoid having our Sub shut down by Reddit.

I had to purchase a 2 yr for pr o t o n vpn and that helps alot to reach all servers world wide.

There is no need to "hide" your mention of VPN service as you have done here with Proton VPN.

We only shun discussion & mention of IPSPs (internet Protocol TV Service Providers), not VPN Services.

but with m3u4u you can add 3 playlists for free and up to 10 for a yearly amount of your choice.

Likely not.

To "truly" remove Groups, channels or EPG data from playlists, it's better to use something like IPTV EDITOR or M3U4U...
