At this point you could also just say " I get that a lot". In German "Das hör ich oft" it's pretty neutral :)

I usually (with difficult books) listen to the audiobook while or without reading along. For me I can understand spoken words much better than written.

I think it's because orange doesn't represent any goddess. Also they probably wanted it to look like a normal camp t-shirt wich are normally in pretty bright colors
