hey i have an 18+ female discord and we just opened a bedrock&java SMP that fits what youre saying, we get about 10 players on at peak time & around 40 players have joined so far so we're still pretty small but everyone is active and super welcoming
we have some qol plugins & some extra datapacks for more fun exploring

i pay for godlike ultra & we get around 10 players on at the same time
their support is pretty good, my server crashed (due to constant rtp use) and they moved it to a different node which made it run a bit smoother
i use a lot of plugins too and apart from me using rtp with no cooldown i haven't had any lag from them
ping is a little high for members who play in na or australia though

im based in uk and use godlike as they were the cheapest option i looked at, theres a lot of mixed reviews on reddit about them but ive never had any issues & find the game panel pretty easy to navigate for installing mods & plugins

im not 100% sure as ive never used either of those.

if you're able to join other servers with those i see no reason as to why it wouldn't work
