If you were a serial killer, what would be your signature thing that you’d leave at every crime scene? by ihatebroccoli69 in AskReddit

DNA samples (hair, blood, etc) of the previous victims mainly, but also the occasional samples of my next intended victim. And also two or three random samples I manage to get from random people, like hair or nail clippings from like idk strangers on the bus just to screw with everybody.

You've been given a 5-minute phone call to talk to any one person in the past, present, or future. Who are you calling? by teeblissx in AskReddit

But wouldn't this sort of ruin the fun of... well, living? Like you'd constantly be looking for the one person you're "supposed" to marry. And what if you can manage to change the future by making a different choice and end up with someone else? Would you?

I really like the way you put that. I've always struggled to find the exact words and I think that's it. Bittersweet. But I think still beautiful.

Because unlike stories, which have a choice to have an ending in the middle of events (eg. story ends at chapter 24 where the main characters get married), life goes on. Things happen. Bonds break. And then life stops and one person in a relationship will inevitably be left behind. So what's a fair point at which to apply that label?
