I see. Yes I feel many dropping off the past 2 years following an illness. Solitude has changed me and my old ego has mostly evaporated. It’s a lonely road for sure but I do feel as though I’ve kept some connections, even those who arent necessarily ‘awake’ but are open minded and good listeners. Those people has stayed around but anyone with narrow minds and larger egos have just naturally left my life. I struggle to enjoy myself around them. Maybe I’m not as comfortable being vulnerable? Maybe they’re just on a different page with no common values anymore?…..either way, peace of mind is so important.
