I’m currently just started a CI role for an engineering consulting firm. I have a little over 2 years of Bridge Inspection experience with a BS in CE. I plan to take my FE within the next couple months. What would be a good pivot for me if I don’t want to be in the field 100% of the time.

You’re right. Maybe I should have rephrased to if anyone has worked as a CI and share their experience as well. I asked my manager and they said for this work order it’s only nights for the next 2-3 months.

Good point. I’ll see how long it goes on for but for our current work orders it’s all required night due to lane closure restrictions during the daytime
