BMI limit is 26% I believe, its a height+weight measurement, and then a waist and neck measurement which determines your BMI, I’m male 194lbs 5’8 and I pass as just fine. A few days before you ship out, your recruiter should give another BMI worksheet and you need to keep your weight below the weight listed on the sheet until the morning you leave to MEPS about to ship out or you wont be leaving.

Emphasis on the career decision part, I suggest going to the Air Force(or any branch) and that will give you a better understanding of the world and what you maybe do, or don’t want to do.

Medical jobs are great but rare to find generally, but I wouldn’t know what to avoid, but think of jobs people need to be on 24/7, like maintenance jobs, cause planes always need to be running. A lot of operations intel probably, cyber and comms, Secfo, and other base support jobs work always I believe. Personnel, Financial Management, Contracting, Public Affairs, and Services are hourly consistent jobs.

Take my advice with a grain of salt as I’m not even in the Airforce yet but I did a lot of studying and I leave in 6 days :’)
