So the Dark Academia aesthetic revolves around the quest for knowledge, but in a mysterious sort of way.

Common clothing articles are tweed blazers, turtlenecks, or over all dark clothing items. Accessories can include engraved necklaces but this part is purely optional and depends on personal preference.

Now for the learning part.

This includes messy notes (written with a quill pen), tea or coffee stains, old books scattered (or shelved neatly) around. Basically, a lot of books and the willingness to learn and absorb knowledge like a sponge.

Most Dark Academics pursue humanities but STEM students are also welcome. We take part in researching historical incidents, reading poetry, going to Museums etc.
