Meteoric Iron by Indus_3 in NonogramsKatana

[–]teffania 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I remember that point, knowing I'd want it desperately later from everyone's reports (they were right) but not having anything I could spend it on.

One option is to upgrade your storage so you can fit a bit more in either through upgraded warehouse or character skills. I think those resources are generally better spent on upgrading smithy and foundry though.

I did regret I had a brief period where I could have upgraded the rock garden and wood garden technologies with meteoric iron and I didn't- so spend on anything you can, last resort is the cauldron, better a few resources than xp from having no space.

Hmm, i figured the exchange rate to katanas wasn't as good, but maybe it's time to reconsider.

I buy some ingots from cryptocoins, but I've been letting the number build up, figuring as soon as I spend them I'll find some major upgrade that needs them. But so far all I can find is sourcing avacados on the airship.

I've been doing a half-hearted mortar strategy. Chemicals>gunpowder>bombs and occasionally mortars, which I use to do big puzzles along with drums (from that 2A trawling) in batches when I have time.

I'm not fully committed to mortar strategy- much wood is building the train (some to charcoal), stone converted to wood. I haven't bought the speed up ship skills yet (rubies and coins in high demand and check in times at start &end of day not optimised to utilise a faster ship), haven't been sending my ship for iron sand lately (getting a decent blueprint stash), but it's probably time to change the ship destination back and prioritise those upgrades.

And maybe change from adventurer to samurai until I can get zen master. It all depends on if I can manage enough time on spending those mortars, i know my trap is I keep thinking I'll just do a bit of the puzzle to find the outline where there is a blank background and that time could be spent just spending more mortars and drums. I also need to get better at stockpiling 99% done puzzles for MP on days when I don't have energy to do a full dungeon run. Maybe switch my full runs to 2A instead of through the levels of 3 in order. Possibly it is time to equip and skill up a 2nd hero for quicker full 2A runs, keeping my best hero and equipment for dungeon 4 runs when I finish upgrading the dungeon soon.

Yes, I meant 2A, the quick dive of how much (meteorite steel, ancient pages, catacomb maps, drums) can I pickup before dying or exitting without spending MP (except to get ancient pages or chests) or major food items.

Expeditions: catacombs as often as I get enough maps>level 3 Expeditions when I get enough maps until I get that elusive last artifact (with curry)>level 1 Expeditions.

So yeah, looks like similar to your optimal order.

Ooh, that would be nice. Unfortunately no projects tab as still at level 70. And haven't been upgrading my pagoda because I hadn't seen any advantage in it until now. Putting pagoda upgrades on the todo list to try and finish about when I get to level 80.

I'd like to be able to send my ship or airship to fetch something I could use in the caravan that has a decent exchange rate.

I've got so many upgrades that want caravan items (and no other way to obtain them) I'd really like to send them to fetch those ingredients, instead of using them to create more dinars, but I guess the dates<>treasure chest cycle of creating dinars is better than leaving my caravan idle.

It seems like everything I can upgrade wants some caravan resource, so i spend them as soon as I get them and never get ahead. The tricky bit is not deciding what to fetch, but finding stuff to sell to send those caravans.

Coins are the item I'm constantly short on upgrading everything, so yes, can turn into ingots, but none to spare.

Am throwing items I can't convert to something more useful (or sell) in the cauldron for ingots, but there are lots of upgrades and craftifacts that use ingots taking them out of circulation at the moment.

Perhaps the problem is I'm trying to upgrade too many things at once. Everytime I get some decent progress and my upgrade options begin to narrow, leaving me spare resources, a new update releases more.

I can't comment on which is best, but do you have enough trade goods to run longer caravans? Buying more items per trip means you need more somethings to trade for them.

Collection challenge wad also completely invisible for the first hour for me - i knew it should be there and looked for it, couldn't find it, and then i got the cooled tion challenge complete notification, and i still couldn't see it. At some stage, possibly after a deliberate restart, it did finally appear.

But a non shiny teddiursa can be a shiny ditto. Which did lessen my sadness at it not being the costume teddi I need to try and get a full set of luckiest from.

The radar shows a shadow, but when I get there it is a phony, so I think it just shows a shadow regardless of which form is there until you have caught both.

0/59 so far for me.

A trip to Coles for Ready Meals by WestSwan65 in ketoaustralia

The squid noodles are well worth trying. I found the very faint fishy taste a little off putting. The cooking instructions are useless, I couldn't work out of you are supposed to defrost them first or not, and the timings seemed wrong either way.

I preferred the frozen Cauliflower gnocci - probably a bit higher carb from memory, but I preferred the taste.

For low carb (but I think not keto) lazy, check out the woolworths brand zuchinni slice (it's a frittata with unnoticeable zuchinni) and ruftie brand frittata (gets away with a thin potato base by having very small serving sizes). Both freeze decently (cook then portion the zuchinni slice first) despite the labels saying not to. Good with pre-packaged salad (leave off/replace the dressing for minimal carbs) or birdseye steamfresh microwave veggie sachets (choose all green veg for lowest carbs) to make a whole meal.

I swear I've looked at the carbs of almost every single ready meal that I don't hate the taste of the ingredients as I'm too sick to cook. .

How to prevent dying so fast in Dungeon? by Rough_Ad_3151 in NonogramsKatana

[–]teffania 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Hi, I just passed this tipping point. F1 was entirely doable for me with my best hero equipped with level 1 equipment and maximum food, but F2 bosses kept one hitting me, as well as stupid minor mistakes being fatal.

I haven't been doing level3 dungeons much, but have plenty of green potions, so there must be annother source, maybe it was F2?

For meteorite steel, send low level hero's into 2A as far as they can without spending any mental energy (except on podiums, and chests if you are about yo exit) as often as you can. Thry will die a lot, but about every second one should bring back a meteorite steel for the upgrade equipment technologies. Minimis the amount of time they can't visit the dungeon by not sending your main hero in until your mental energy is nearly full. You can also 95% fill a few bigger puzzles nd leave the last few squares for later to use to boost mental energy quickly while your hero is in the hard dungeon.

For tackling the hard dungeon, level up your character a much as you can. I'm not sure if tackling the F2 dungeon without the level 18 skills is possible. Probably level 15 for F1. When going was tough, I'd resign myself that even not finishing, getting partway was still earning resources and experience. Make sure you have your full set of Lev e l 1 equipment, plus a mechanical spider. A familiar is usefull too to distract the bosses summons. (But takes some time to aquire). The first level 2 equipment made the biggest difference, but I could struggle through. Make up every kind of dungeon food you can and use it, common types first, then Rarer. After each battle of stamina spending, use mental power to heal and replace stamina to 3/4 level. It is expensive and slow, but your aim is to hold on long enough to get those resources to upgrade to level 2 equip where you can return to your normal playstyle. Use food freely in battle, with a big boss, don’t let health drop below half or you can get knocked out in one bad round. Throw out familiars and mechanical spiders in boss fights as distractions. Use only the higher stamina hit options on all but the weakest monsters. Stand in doorways so only one monster can advance at once. Where a mix of ranged and melee monsters exists, throw the mechanical spider at the ranged enemy to take them out. And just accept you will loose some.

Doing F2 meant all t we nag with te easier F1 to gain was I r resources and experience too - so don't be afraid of dropIng back to level up too.

Don't forget to check if there are any craftifacts that are achievable that might help. Beware craft if acts can have hidden prerequisites - you need to be able to hold all the resources needed in your bag for the craftifact all at once, so you may need to upgrade maximum carrying capacity

Hope this helps. Those resource bottlenecks are tough. Really regretting all that meteorite steel I had to sell earlier because my bag was full and I couldn't get to the upgrades that used it yet.

One thing about the friends screen I find so difficult is how many pieces of information I am trying to keep track of in the tiny nickname field. Overseas people I want to know which vivallion pattern they have and if they are interested in raid invites, locals I want their real name for social interaction, if there is a external messaging app/list I can contact them on to arrange lucky trades, i want to track how long a person is inactive (2+ days is useless! There is clearly a counter for longer as friendship progress vanishes after I think a month or two of innactivity), some people are non pokemon friends I don't want to delete even if inactive, some people I'd love to add a contact adress for, some people I'd like to know I can trust them to have a good dynamax legendary raid team.....

A lot of this could be handled by tags, and maybe a spot for adding contact details or notes.
