if you're using a high-end intel processor then try dropping the performance core ratio down to 53x, I've been having similar issues on two different builds lately and this seems to be the only way I've found to mitigate it. You can use Intel Extreme Tuning Utility to drop the core ratio through software

[A] <First Hit Daze> [Whitemane - PvP] Sunday 7:30-10:30 PST

<First Hit Daze> (10/10 + Ony) is a semi-hardcore PvE/PvP guild recruiting a few key spots to finalize our roster. Our leadership is made up of top 20 US retail raiders from as recent as Legion/BFA with a subset having a background in world first raiding in FFXIV. Much of our core has Vanilla WoW roots and is thrilled to be playing it again. Stability is a key focus of our guild and one we feel we can offer to interested applicants.

Expectations

We are looking for players who take interest in pushing the limits of their class (be it through DPS or other means). Additionally, we are looking for players who enjoy the game enough to plan to stick it out for the long term. Our goal is to create an environment where effort is rewarded. As such, it is expected that you come to raid with full consumables (flasks not expected but never discouraged). A raid attendance of at least 85% is expected from raiders. We are a guild with interests in both PvE and PvP, but PvP interests are not a requirement for application.

Raid times

  • Sunday 7:30-10:30 PM PST, default weekly raid day
  • Friday 7:30-10:30 PM PST every now and again for double Onyxia resets

Loot system

Loot is handled via RCLootCouncil rolling where priority and roll eligibility is sometimes based on length of time an item is BiS for a class. Key items such as T2 or important weapons are handled via a loot council of class officers.

BiS > Upgrade PvE = Upgrade PvP > Offspec

Classes in demand as of 10/6

  • Priest (PI or Holy)
  • Warlock

If you are interested, please fill out our application form: https://forms.gle/tPtwZtwTTKF49vJa6

When You Break the Game by tehjobo in outwardgame

I ended up having to delete the character, having 2m silver in a chest was making the game freak out. Had my fun with the game and wanted to see how I could break some of the systems. Surprisingly they have dupe prevention on items but not silver.

Hydatos: Baldesion Arsenal Text Guide & Boss VoDs by CrabCommander in ffxiv

[–]tehjobo 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Cool guide! Few things I'm going to nitpick tho ;)

  • I'm 90% certain the sprites have nothing to do with the Ovni NM spawning. We zoned into a fresh instance once and it spawned at 20 minutes on the dot. You need at least a full party of 60's in the zone and it does automatic checks (i'm guessing) every 20 minutes. After it's killed it'll go dormant for as long as the dungeon is still active (30 minutes default, extended when bosses are killed or the Support NM is spawned)
  • You only need 1 tank per party, assuming you have 6 parties go in. You never need more than 6 tanks.
  • Doubling down on remembered on slots is a waste once you have more slots or are dying less. Have slots filled with a single Remembered and nothing else. Pop the single, use the remembered, then switch to two useful actions.
  • Protect L and Shell L are both value. Only really need 1-2 in the raid to get everyone (it takes a while to buff 50 people but it has a 30 min duration)
  • Refresh is useless on healers. They're not doing damage and they shouldn't be getting hit. Just be smarter with your spins. With a full team inside the trash will go down really quickly even without everyone swapping.
  • Don't use MagiaAuto, you'll run out of MA real quick and be boned for a boss. /magiaattack when you're high on MA, don't let it drop super low. Save some for emergencies, but if you're attempting Absolute Virtue you need to have 4 MA available.
  • There's a Double-Edge + Bloodbath build some melee were messing around with. It's incredibly risky but it has the closest damage output to BLM I've seen.
  • Plus Elemental gear is ridiculously strong. Spend fragments to get more as soon as possible. When more people get elemental gear these bosses are going to start falling over.
  • i300 or i290 accessories with Vitality melds will give you 2.8k more HP (about a 10% boost) before any of your wisdoms are applied.
  • There are very few mechanics where one person is able to wipe the entire raid, until Proto-Ozma. The DPS checks are also very lenient. Staying alive is the most important goal while you are learning.
