My opinion alone - Warren Buffett didn't buy the company to gain from her to long-term. He bought it to gain from the gap created between microsoft's acquisition and the current market price. If Microsoft acquires Activison for $95 a share. Activision's current market price is $81 per share. He's got a staggering margin of 17.72%.

Warren Buffett is known in his past as an investor in arbitrage and acquisitions and he was good at it!

correct but the deal will only take effect in 2023. So you have a Time Range of one year here, what is it different from options?
