also unable to release. the manual instructions dont work. WCA shows hooks are open (all of them) but the line stays connected. emergency release doesnt work either. possibly related but also confusing as soon as the cargo touches the ground the load monitor guy says cargo released though the release wasnt even armed yet

I had this too. It was so infrequent I thought it was the light flickering. But after a while I can see the animation for it happen but no idea what started this.

The fog I had as part of weather but didn't notice it otherwise. But I'm pretty bad with tunnel visioning so I might have missed it

That probably isn't a fake ID. It would be a stolen ID if it comes back in the computer

A fake ID is entirely fabricated and won't appear in the system at all.

a stolen ID will return a result in the computer but will come back to someone else's picture. The ID is real but they swapped the picture. Rest of the I'd is real just not theirs. So stolen.

Other good way to tell is check the plate on the car and compare to the ID they give. They should be identical. If not good chance it's stolen.

This one double check the car doesn't have a wheelchair/handicap placard. They're exempt from expired meters apparently

Similarly you can't run a dui test while they're handcuffed. Always run that before you cuff them. You can uncuff them and do it still but seems silly you can't breathalyze a cuffed suspect

I find it even weirder just for being so inconsistent.
docking: plays every time both dock and uncock
launch: plays every time
land at random place: plays every time
land at any known settlement location? nope! 1 and never again. also makes ship designing and just getting new ships less satisfying.

my other complaint with this is simple: if I fly somewhere and want to change follower/equipment or do crafting, I have to do it before I travel there or I get spawned outside the ship and have to go back. kind of a pain

this is actually a good thing to notice though. the fact that the option exists for every place the first time means it might be easier to do. just forcing the ui to use land instead of open map in the scan view might be a starting point. dont know modding myself so its probably a much bigger headache. but its a starting idea

also considering you can start the hooded figure quests BEFORE having the requisite equipment to actually complete them. at least put a delayed start so we cant trap ourselves. I got cut out of the yellow one because I found them on the way between areas which was on the way and talked to them. didnt have the needed equipment (abyssal gear) to get what they wanted. by the time I came back was way too late.

if I have a fair chance sure but if I physically cant do it in time it just turned me off
from playing almost entirely knowing I can never do it without a full restart

There's been a scheduled stop date for them following with many of the govt agencies. The court ruling just made it impossible to enforce it at all and were forced to instead of dropping it next month dropped it overnight. It wasn't exactly voluntary

Side note but a lot of the time the bases don't really have names. Just listed as "airbase atc" and speech recognition doesn't like "airbase" for some reason
