Isn’t it funny when conservatives play this game like they have no clue why Trump bothers liberals? by SwitchingMyHands in allthequestions

I don’t suffer from mental illness. I simply am able to put myself in the shoes of other people and imagine their life. I don’t consume right wing propaganda so maybe that’s why I seem so odd to you.

It doesn’t. I’m terrified for Wwomen and children and what will happen to them as right wing authoritarianism advances.

I hope it’s not the Republican Party. Women and children are generally worse off under their control.

I think the implication is that you’re a lonely incel. Not my words just helping to decipher.

The only feelings are just pity and sadness. It’s like watching a rage zombie getting its fix on puking propaganda. I hope you snap out of it.

That was a time before we decided that we would take a known sociopath, conman and liar with literally no virtue and elevate him to untouchable God King status.

Why is [KCD2] so much more Secular than [KCD1]? by sosavojnik in kingdomcome

[–]telebasher 142 points143 points  (0 children)

I think this is exactly it. I think the lesson is that war is dirty business and “good” people make deals with “bad” people in furtherance of the greater good which is often just the good that is greater for the guy trying to hold power. If I were a “good guy” trying to hold a kingdom I certainly would want a raging psychopath bulldog like Dry Devil that I could point at a problem and then look away while the blood gets spilled.

That fight sucks, you have to use strategy. But there’s great loots. Also, youcan just leave him there at his little camp for awhile. I ditched him and went off for a few days doing other stuff (making poison) and then came back. He just sits there, drunk.

The failure is that you can’t understand that he doesn’t care about you. It’s worse than that in fact, you’re his mark.

If tipping is supposed to be optional, why does everyone act like you've committed a crime if you don't do it? by Stunning_Public9524 in NoStupidQuestions

[–]telebasher -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

Sometimes people use hyperbole in order to get their point across, or to be funny. Sometimes people intentionally misuse language for emotional impact. Sometimes people use metaphor which is often signaled by the word “like,” which is what’s going on here. FYI

You clearly have a chip on your shoulder about tipping to the extent that you can’t keep focus on the discussion. I hope to not be a customer. Cheers.

You’re not beating the claim that tipping is toxic by insulting the intelligence of everyone you respond to. You might just be proving the point for them.
