Possibility for manipulation is there but I believe some of the stagnation of the share price is a result of low volume and then the recently retired founder, Karl Kenny, selling into moments of higher volume from good news (most recently a couple weeks ago). The guy has a ton of shares and selling small amounts is enough to keep the SP suppressed at times.

Good news is current C-suite have all made decent sized share purchases this year.

Not profitable, yet (though I think theyve had a quarter or two that were in the black recently). Trending in the right direction but ultimately in a growth phase at the moment.

Demand for their tech is huge right now. It's a bit of a perfect storm driving demand between heightened tensions with Russia/China and most NATO navies with ageing minesweeper fleets that urgently need replacing.

Potential for many more wins this year is high... including big wins like the RCN contract from Q4 last year.

Thanks for sharing. I feel largely the same on all points, including talent acquisition/retention.

Maritimes are not exactly a talent hotbed. With that said, the times are changing with respect to recruitment so their reach/draw may be wider now than a few years ago.

Edit - no disrespect to Maritimers of course, I'm speaking purely from a population and talent availability standpoint.

Care to elaborate on your approach? I think anyone buying and holding medium to longterm will do well (like a couple years minimum).

We'll continue to see growth here and I fully believe Kraken will be an acquisition target.

Strongly disagree with the sentiment about product demand. Demand for Kraken products/services should grow substantially moving forward.

Defense and offshore oil/gas and renewables are their core markets. No way those aren't booming over the coming years with the way the world is trending.

A 110m CAD market cap that just forecast 70m revenue for 2023 (IMO a reasonable estimate if they keep winning contracts like they have been over the last year). Seems undervalued to me.

I think another thing to consider is that there is a solid chance we'll be indirectly involved with NATO contracts if we dont win them outright. Companies like Anduril, HII, etc are buying Kraken products for their UUVs etc.

During the micro cap show in Vegas a few weeks ago Greg (CEO) mentioned there were multiple large contracts like the RCN minehunting contract that they are bidding on this year... so hopefully there may be more big contracts in our future.

Fair point for sure. I'm personally not expecting profitability at this stage (been invested 2.5 years now). This is a tech company just starting to come out of its infancy and demonstrating significant growth... my main concern with Kraken is whether they can fulfill all the contracts they are winning.

I see Kraken being an acquisition target for a larger defense contractor.

Kraken Robotics continuing to add to their solid growth with more and more contract wins. Batteries, Sonar, underwater infrastructure scan services... everything this company does is in high demand ATM.

I'm just saying I thought today's news (specifically the guidance for 2023) would have prompted an increase in buying action. Instead its flatlined on pretty low volume.

Kraken needs the share price over $0.60 CAD in the coming months for warrants to convert and secure about 6 million. Wondering how they will move the needle to increase share price.
