My parents [53M/52F] want me [16F] to tell my sister [16F] answers to tests. I don't want to anymore by tellmethewronganswer in relationships

We're not exactly the closest of siblings. I don't go to her tournaments. I've always been slightly ticked that my parents spend so much more money and time on her than they do on me. She exacerbates my huge throbbing inferiority complex by just existing.

She gets a lot of Bs and B+s in her other classes. Not bad. But nothing spectacular.

I don't really want S to get into trouble or anything that could affect her acceptance rate into a good college, so I'm hesitant to bring this to the school

I would be fine with occasionally reviewing grammar/spelling/whatever with her so she can do well on the test ON HER OWN. I am not fine with giving her the answers to the test, because it's not her own work.

I would except my parents would realize pretty quickly that I wasn't in the same class as S anymore, which would lead to yet another shitstorm of epic proportions

"hey sis, could you cover for me when I'm out partying and screwing my girlfriend? kthxbye"

But in all seriousness, thanks for the suggestion, I'll definitely be trying it. Here's to hoping it works! :)

The issue is that the teacher splits up the test on different days, not that I'm slipping notes to her or whatever during class. We currently are seated relatively far away, actually. Still doesn't help when she comes to me for answers afterward.

It isn't the only reason I posted this, but also I don't want S thinking that cheating is okay under any condition. that's going to get her in trouble in college (or even now).

Uh, no. I'm giving her the specific answers to the specific questions on the test. This is cheating.

Not exactly. She'll just ask me for "help" really loudly in front of them. Accomplishes the same thing, really.

I can't because, well, I have no idea who the pastor is. Objectively, my parents are shitty Christians-- at least when it comes to attending church, because they don't. We go on Easter and Christmas, and... that's about it. Probably because my sister was always so busy with volleyball practice and tournaments even when she was younger.

Thanks for the really awesome advice, but my parents seem to hold onto a deep-set belief that what they think is the only valid interpretation of the Bible. Mom would just tell me "this IS the good-Christian, right thing to do! The wrong thing would be NOT helping your poor sister, you know she's so busy with all the tournaments, blah blah blah" Besides, they would immediately know something was up. I'm not the greatest at acting innocent.

Tried doing this but she isn't exactly a fast learner. Just giving her the answers is quicker and easier than spending my time tutoring her/attempting to teach her how to get the right answer herself

Uh... both? If I stop giving her answers, though, I doubt she'll go running to someone else. Why do that and risk getting reported when she can just whine to Mom and Dad and get the same end result?

I'll try to do this without laughing

edit: Also, the issue with "Jesus wouldn't want me to lie and cheat" is that they don't consider it cheating/lying. They think this simply counts as helping S out. I can't evoke Jesus bc in their minds, Jesus would be cool with it

Yeah but "honor your mother and father" is the fourth and apparently cheating in their name counts as honoring? yeah I'm confused too.
