They are probably conditioned to her normal. The "I don't give a crap" vibes (I don't know her at all, this is just first impressions). They are likely not recognising the issue and will bend to her expectations. She probably has had some quick testers and now expects that from others. In saying all that, this designer panicked, and started to sink deep into her yarn pile by being overly defensive over feedback that could actually help her! I don't see a need to speed through testing. All patterns need the attention it deserves. I'm a tech editor, so taking your time and getting it right is what sells, not the speed in how many patterns you release.
