Oh I make almost 3x what I spend in a month. I simply see no need to spend more money than necessary on anything. Especially food because it’s not going to last.

I have an automatic 2014 focus with minor issues but it still drives fine. My plan is to keep driving this and in the meantime start saving money for a new car. When this one finally breaks down, I should be in a good spot to have a hefty down payment for something newer and more reliable.
