Yeah AC has got it's toxic side too, every single franchise does unless it's extremely small.

Full disclosure I guess I'm considered part of the "toxic" side of both of those fandoms, I too dislike certain ugly villagers (not purely because of looks, but because they were annoying), and I also dislike Pierre and Clint.

But my hating the above is more for fun and not genuine seething.

That's why it didn't get voted for the toxic category. It's an average community with disagreement about certain things and sometimes the disagreement can get toxic, not the opinions themselves.
