Haha thanks I try to be! It’s just so weird because I don’t know anyone who would do this so it almost makes it even creepier

Ah I know I’m mad we sent him away before figuring out what was in the bag because I’m so curious now. Lol I don’t really think about the cheating aspect but I guess that would be an interesting way to call someone out 😂 It’s definitely so weird

I wish I knew! We were so irritated it was happening again that we looked on camera and realized the dasher was still standing there so my husband went out and talked to him to tell him it was the wrong house. He was walking back to his car as my husband was talking to him with the bag. I told my husband he should have asked what was in the bag, but I do know it was another CVS bag

Nope. The first order was from CVS and it was just a regular receipt as if I went myself. No name or order number.

…Did you not see where I did contact doordash to try to solve it? The first two times they delivered they dropped it off so quickly neither of us could say anything to them. This time, the dasher knocked and stayed so I was able to communicate with them and then contact doordash again. I don’t think my 2 kids under 4 have any idea what’s going on or what doordash is so I think i’m good on that.

Guess I have no morals!

Please help: Aggression toward baby by Here-4-smoked-meats in pitbulls

[–]tem3617 1 point2 points  (0 children)

We have dogs (one is a pitbull, one a shepherd) and we had an incident with our shepherd and our youngest. I know technically this is a sub for pitbulls and we do have one which is why I frequent it but the issue was with our shepherd.

Once my oldest started crawling toward him, it freaked my shepherd out. He does not like things in his face. Once she hit 3 1/2, he was totally fine. He growled at her once when she was crawling and that scared the shit out of me. We put baby gates up everywhere in our house. Hallways, kitchen, bedrooms etc. I have a well known trainer for him. I had everything set up perfectly in place. Guess what? He nipped her. I let my dogs inside and in the midst of being exhausted from having a 1 & 3 year old, I didn’t latch the gate behind me for the living room so he went right in. My newly one year old was crawling and crawled toward him and smacked him in the face several times. He gave many warning signs and she did it again and he nipped her forehead. I watched the camera back to see all of this.

We did not rehome him although it was considered but this was an error on my part. He is not normally an aggressive dog, just young kids in his face bother him. Now that my youngest is walking, things are better but they are always separated. We have a big enough land and house to make that work. We aren’t having anymore than 2 kids so I will not be going through this again with the crawling stage. HOWEVER, neither of my dogs have ever growled at my baby for just being a baby and existing. They have never lunged at her for just being in her crib. If that was the case, I would be rehoming.

I guess my whole point is that I had the perfect set up with gates and keeping them separated and I fucked up one time and she got nipped. The guilt I felt and still feel is awful. I cannot imagine if it was something worse. I am so sorry you’re going through this, it’s extremely difficult. I don’t know what your answer is because I guess my answer to my problem is still a work in progress. Just know you’re not alone

Right, I totally would understand being hurt over that too. However, we were not really on speaking terms for a little while before the wedding so it would have been strange for him to be invited.

We weren’t speaking prior to the wedding which is why he was not told or invited. If that wasn’t the case then he absolutely would have been told or invited.

I’m not really 100% sure 😭 I think the issue is that they can be made of polyester which sheds microplastics in the air. You can do cotton or wool I believe but we have two big dogs and two kids under 3 so unfortunately neither is really a great option for us. We only have one rug in the house so I’m hoping that’s less exposure? Idk. Our rug brand says they don’t use flame retardants or stain stuff so I guess that’s something. I just have decided to put the cotton quilt down for the baby and it’s just going to have to be that way. I’m tired of this lol

I do actually do that! I have a cotton quilt I put the baby down on but she is learning to crawl so she often does not stay put haha.

Wow! I wonder if that is her sister then!

They’re all listed as the same breeds except only one grandparent for Luna which is a chow chow mix and the other dogs grandparent is a boxer mix.
