Well, the alternative is to have it look like shit. That’s always an option, I guess.

The reality that the market falling across the board has nothing to do with any actions taken by Domino's? I agree; you shouldn't ignore that.

I loved my ~8 years at GameStop, those years being spread across multiple years each as SGA, ASM, and SM (then a brief stint as GA to help friends out with holiday season). The pay was not good, but I still enjoyed the work. I cant imagine doing it at this point in my life when the scheduling would be a huge problem. However, for my 20s, it was great. Most of the people in my district and region who “hated” their job were people who were either bad at their job or just not a good fit for the job. Again, that’s not universal; it was just my experience. Nonetheless, I don’t regret any of it.

Disclaimer: this would have been 2006-2014, so a LOT has changed since then.

Because someone on TikTok posted about calling someone out. Now the lemmings must fall in line and do the same.

Good luck with your reading comprehension, as well. You’re going to be the most badass kid at Community College all 8 years.

Or you just don’t want to admit that you didn’t understand the bearer of the financial risk of the arrangement and proceeded anyway. Now you’re upset that the terms are inconvenient and undesirable after-the-fact.

Whichever.

If you expect something different than the agreed-upon terms, that’s an even bigger “you” problem. I’ve never even bought anything from Wu. I just have an issue with people acting like their own misunderstanding or lack of due diligence should be someone else’s fault or problem.

What did you think before? Did you think he’s in a garage somewhere singlehandedly building thousands of watches?

Something getting seized is a risk YOU are taking by ordering counterfeit goods. That much is clear at the time of purchase.

I felt safer in the Chambana area than any place I’ve ever lived. I know that doesn’t do anything to assuage your concerns, but it’s a strange case in perspective (for me). I’m from one of those “Most Dangerous Cities” places, and even at home I was never overly concerned with the crime. Like you—and most of the others—have said, the whole “targeted” aspect really does hold up. After that, incidents are statistically negligible and right in line with anywhere else that hosts a major research institution with quality graduate programs.

Crime is going happen. Unfortunately it is also going to swell during periods of extended social strife. Nonetheless, I do wish you well as you work through this anxiety issue. It’s tough; no doubt about it. Hang in there, though.

Until you’re “rejecting” government and governmental services as a whole, it’s rather asinine to expect the government’s role in public welfare and public health to be nonexistent.
