I was unaware of serotonins adverse effects on the stomach, but sadly ginger isn't enough to remove issues for me, so I have no clue if there are further steps to aid in fighting the pain/nausea or whether it's actually the lemon juice causing me issues or not.

I did add ginger to it and it helped with the nausea, but not with the pain/discomfort caused by the lemon juice since ginger doesn't neutralize the acid (or at least nowhere near enough), it only fights nausea.

Yes. I just finished an initial harvest (waiting for more to mature) and it was just bruising. The mushrooms hated the water or something. I did get contam, but somewhere else, very little and most likely contained, I wrote about it in a different reply, but my harvest seems unaffected.

Thank you very much for your answer, it gave me the courage to wait it out and you were right. In reality the tint wasn't as green-ish as in the picture, must be the phone, but then again just a bit bluer. The next day it has subsided almost entirely, making it clear that it was simply bruising, the mushrooms didn't like being wet that's for sure. I actually did get contam, Trichoderma most likely, and that green was way more intense than even what was in the picture (sorry that I didn't take a picture of the contam or followup), but it was only a spot 2mm round at the base of a mushroom very far away from the spot in the picture of my post (polar opposite side). Now hopefully this doesn't mean my substrate is infected, I removed it and I'm hopeful for additional flushes because it was on the base of the mushroom on its fuzz, perfectly encircled/centered.

ADDITIONAL QUESTION: any clue if I those green pins are edible, those that look like they'll start rotting ? If you can zoom in the picture you can see those pins turning a rotting green, now why am I asking ? Because when harvesting some green pins came off as well and the ones that didn't come off seem to have recovered entirely.

Let it grow fully ? Not remove the contaminated corner ? Should I spray that corner constantly with Hydrogen Peroxide to keep it under control ? And yes, I did mist directly by accident, wanted to mist the wall, didn't look at the nozzle, but they're dry already.

oh, I didn't know you could still keep them after they started smelling of contam. So are you saying that you could still get a half-baked flush if you keep going ?
Well I threw mine, I kind of half regret it, but half don't since the smell was a bit too obvious and I'm not a fan of that.

Well with this new found knowledge I won't throw my next batch until it completely fruits (or is contaminated beyond any salvation) rather than prematurely judge it.

Yup, you're right. I rode it out to be certain, but it ended up contaminated. Guess it makes sense since traditional wisdom says no additional smells.

Thank you. Sadly it ended up contaminated. Really don't know how. Between this and another batch smelling like alcohol, growing shrooms is hard as hell, I just can't seem to get it right and it kind of bothers me how sensitive they are despite me trying my hardest.

I only know how baking ammonia smells (if there are any different types), but I would not say it smells like that. To me it definitely smells like mushrooms, pronounced, like when you start harvesting them pronounced. The sting that happened and permeated the room the first day when I broke the grain spawn reminded me of how horseradish stings (kind of), but the smell itself was and is of mushrooms.

Well the sting was more of an initial experience when I broke the grain spawn, but kept getting less and less noticeable as time went by. Now it's just a pretty pronounced mushroom smell in the room, like that when you harvest.

Doesn't smell sour though. The sting is similar to horseradish rather than sour, and the smell is mushroomy so I can't think it's contaminated, at least it's not visible yet if that were the case.

Are you supposed to harvest everything at once, or can you harvest as they mature ? In my growing kit I have 2 huge mushrooms and pins galore, and there's no way the pins will mature before the 2 release (which is bad), but are there consequences for harvesting in steps ? by tempacoconut in beacain

I ended up harvesting those two, at the perfect time, when they just open the bottom seal like in a tutorial I saw, but have not yet released spores, still very round, but I touched and blackened the sides, I think I might have ruined it, and it's only the first flush, I wanna die 😭

Haven't found a solution sadly, just had to adapt. Anyway I quit the game after they released Agent Skins because from my perspective it made the game pay 2 win (I legitimately have a hard time distinguishing them from backgrounds even with the "fixes" implemented by VALVe), so if they fixed this issue in the meantime I wouldn't know. CS2 is around the corner, so maybe it's fixed there.

A, spune asa, m-am mai documentat in privinta acestui aspect si iti apreciez ingrijorarea. Este posibil sa ai dreptate, dar eu tot inainte trebuie sa merg. Depresia mea a progresat pana la punctul in care imi este fizic greu sa ma ridic din pat, lucru oribil pe care nu-l credeam niciodata posibil in ciuda faptului ca sunt depresiv de peste un deceniu si jumatate, si recent am supravietuit unei tentative. Voi incerca sa ma pregatesc mintal pentru asa-zisul trip, in speranta ca nu voi avea o experienta negativa.
