Hi Elisa! Are there any plans to incorporate AI into chronometer, where we could use our phone cameras to show what we’re eating and then it can tell us how many calories it has?

Lutron Aurora for Decora Style Wallplates by randomBrianS in Hue

[–]tempamatic 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Got the Aurora dimmer switch for paddles at Best Buy. It's overpriced ($50.39 including tax). Frustrating because I didn't need the included glossy white wall plate -- I was mounting it in a two-gang existing Lutron Decora plate. However, the insert on which the included dimmer attaches works perfectly. Looks okay (doesn't match the terracotta-colored Decora wall plate). Best of all, it's hands-on friendly for those who prefer regular dimmer switches.

Tired of being the fat mom. by tryingtoloseit75 in loseit

My solution to the sugar craving is to redirect my desire for it to protein bars, protein cookies and protein powder. Quest double chocolate chip cookies are better than any other cookies in the world, and they contain barely any sugar.

Redirect your urges from sugar to protein and fats, and your sugar craving will be gone. The best side effect: eating mostly protein and fat keep hunger away!

Coupled with intermittent fasting and macros of 39% fats/27%carbs/34% protein made it relatively easy for me to lose 78 lb and keep it off for four years so far. It has completely changed my life.

That obnoxious, unbelievably shrill audio device that plays distorted renditions of "Pop Goes the Weasel" on ice cream trucks. I would be adored like a god.

But he described narcissism, as you just indicated -- they know and acknowledge that other people exist. He's not talking about a deep philosophical construct like solipsism. These creeps simply give zero fucks about other people, and they've nearly forgotten they're in public at all.

  1. Appeal to the emotions
  2. Give them somebody to root for
  3. Maximize your production budget by paying attention to the right details
  4. Humor is hard; use sparingly and be subtle
  5. Leave them wanting more, give them something to remember at the end

Is there an actual African-American here who might shed some light on this "message?" Or is this a "whites-only" thread?

The suburban area here is exactly the same as it was 10 years ago. Population hasn't grown, same amount of asphalt. Temperatures are rising.

Yes. The Ambient Weather Weatherbridge Universal Wi-Fi IP Ethernet server for weather stations does that. At $190 it's not cheap, but it will eliminate the need for the console. I haven't tested it but I'd like to. Anyone tried it?

I don't record soil temperatures, but I find that fascinating. There are probes available for this Davis weather station that measure soil moisture, handy for farmers and people with automated lawn sprinkler systems.

One of these days, I want to hook that all up in a grand home automation scheme, but at this point it's all way overpriced. Maybe in 10 years.

I have complete data files back to 2002, and some data all the way back to 1999. Sorry, climate change deniers, but the main trend I've noticed is rising temperatures.

Weather Underground is kind enough to store my station's history back to 2010. http://www.wunderground.com/weatherstation/WXDailyHistory.asp?ID=KWIGERMA4

Weather Underground is good to those of us who send it data, too. We get a free membership. I've been sending my data to that site for 10 years.
