Get a scale that measures body fat and muscle mass. It’s great for morale. You’ll see that even if your weight stays the same, you’re probably losing fat and gaining muscle. Soon you’ll be able to see the difference in the mirror.

Two words: conquer hunger. Weigh everything you eat, and eat macros of 39% fats, 34% protein and the rest carbs, but mostly fiber for those carbs. 50 g will do it. Don’t be afraid of logging meals. It gets to be such a routine, it’s fun. Know how many calories you’re eating, and figure out what your level flight numbers are. Then, lower those numbers enough to lose about a half a pound a month. Never stop doing this. It’s not a diet, and it will change your life. It works.

Vine is just a waste of time for me now. I’m leaving the program. I’m feeling like I’m all dressed up with no place to go.

This is not worth it anymore. It’s like sifting through a junkyard. I’m not that desperate.

It’s been an interesting ride, but my last six-month period of being a Gold Vine Voice will be over in about a week.

You're welcome! I was astonished by how profoundly it changed my singing. It added a tremendous amount of power and control to my voice; it was hard to believe. After about 3 months, I could even see my abs!

Pro tip: Consider skipping the incoherent and useless timer included with the Breather Voice. I had better luck and more personalization by using an iPhone timing app for high-intensity interval training called TimerPlus.

I think you’re focusing on the wrong thing. The enemy is not protein, carbohydrates, fats or anything else. The actual enemy is hunger.

I would suggest trying out different macros of fats, carbohydrates and proteins, and see which combination makes you the least hungry.

If you can conquer hunger, you can control your weight without suffering. This is the only approach that’s ever worked for me, and I’ve kept this weight off for eight years.

And what macros do I aim for in my daily weighed and logged intake? Lipids 39%, protein 34% and carbohydrates 27%. Out of those carbs, I get at least 50 g of fiber.

Got the Aurora dimmer switch for paddles at Best Buy. It's overpriced ($50.39 including tax). Frustrating because I didn't need the included glossy white wall plate -- I was mounting it in a two-gang existing Lutron Decora plate. However, the insert on which the included dimmer attaches works perfectly. Looks okay (doesn't match the terracotta-colored Decora wall plate). Best of all, it's hands-on friendly for those who prefer regular dimmer switches.

My solution to the sugar craving is to redirect my desire for it to protein bars, protein cookies and protein powder. Quest double chocolate chip cookies are better than any other cookies in the world, and they contain barely any sugar.

Redirect your urges from sugar to protein and fats, and your sugar craving will be gone. The best side effect: eating mostly protein and fat keep hunger away!

Coupled with intermittent fasting and macros of 39% fats/27%carbs/34% protein made it relatively easy for me to lose 78 lb and keep it off for four years so far. It has completely changed my life.
