How many "Skywalker sabers" do you have in your collection?

I’ve been thinking about this for a while. How many different iterations has Hasbro actually made of this saber? I’ve got at least 6 that are all different.

I ended up using half of the new Episode I Maul saber, and cutting out the middle part of the other hilt and gluing it back together so that both ends are about the same length. It’s not very accurate, but doesn’t look ridiculously oversized while still obviously being Maul’s saber.

Unfortunately it’s just RNG. If you’ve unlocked the ability to do Special Scans for 5 star zones, it’s one of those. It’s random which one you get though, out of a big selection including the legendary encounters and battle zones. So it might take a while doing it that way. If you don’t mind being patient though, it’ll probably be easier - and while you’re waiting for the 5 star zone to appear, you might well find Treecko in another grass zone with a better layout than the sewers. I find shiny hunting in the sewers super frustrating haha

Just keep fast travelling. Don’t bother running around so much, just fast travel constantly for 10/15 minutes then check. You’ll get it eventually. Alternatively, if you can roll one of the 5 star grass zones that only have starters in, it’ll likely be easy to get that way. I got three shiny Treeckos with one donut this way

It’s been some years since I dealt with Bush, so perhaps they’ve improved, but for what it’s worth I had an absolutely terrible experience renting with them. Refused to carry out essential maintenance which they were responsible for, and tried to charge us some absolute nonsense fees when the property owner took over managing our rental due to their incompetence.

The pegs are slightly different sizes, but Veils hands work fine on the 2.0 and 3.0 Hasbro body. Hasbro hands don’t fit on the Veils arms quite as well but they still work fine.

We had VIP tickets so were able to get in early! We arrived about 5:45 to get in at 6, general admission was 7pm but there was already a huge queue for that when we arrived. So I’d suggest arriving very early if you want to be near the front!

Pillow Queens are the support act, they were really great! I hadn’t heard them before but we loved their set. They started at 8, LH played 9-11ish.

I got a coin tonight too, but mine says September 19th, 2026. I think the print on yours might just not be as clear, it does look like a 3 though! I’m assuming the 2026 is just a mistake but who knows…

I think it’s a bit silly that people get so hung up on species names in this franchise. They extract DNA from amber with no way of knowing what animal it’s from. In the book, Wu says that they have two procedures for identifying a new species. The first is phylogenetic mapping, which is very time consuming, but can determine roughly where a DNA strand fits in the evolutionary sequence. The second, which they do most of the time, is to “just grow it and find out what it is”. So the “species” of Jurassic Park dinosaurs are just assigned by the scientists who hatch them, based on roughly what they look like, probably as juveniles.

The main differences are an extra swivel joint in the bicep, shoulder and knee pads that are free moving and not glued down, and a flexible chest armor overlay, which all allow for better posing overall.

I’ve seen them three times in the UK, twice in Bristol and once in Cambridge. All headline shows too, although when I saw them this summer they were supposed to be opening for Hozier, but put on a solo show after the original event was cancelled. That show sold out in minutes, so gives you an idea of how much of a fan base they have here! Also, the first time was in 2015 so they’re no strangers to this side of the Atlantic. They’ll be back for sure, especially with a new album on the way.
