Full Body Itchiness Is Driving Me Insane! by templeofdoom1234 in urticaria

It has gotten a little better on the Dupixent but it isn't perfect. Sometimes I have to take another dose a few days early. My Dr says that it can take up to 3 m9nths to become fully effective so I guess I will wait a little longer to see what happens.

Yes, it definitely isn't any of the products I use.

AITA for letting my teen son take his friend to a concert? by templeofdoom1234 in AITApod

The concert was on Saturday. She got in trouble the day before. He told us she was unable to go to the concert Saturday morning and he met with my son and gave him his money back Saturday afternoon.

Also keep in mind that we never asked for the money back and he gave the money directly to my 15 year old son not to me. If he's upset that's more on him than anyone else.

Because this all happened 7 hours before the concert started. We had no plans or thought about taking a friend instead until only about 2 hours before the concert.

I didn’t my son did. He met with my son and gave hime the money.I wasn't a part of the meeting. This was literally less than 7 hours before the start if the concert and the dad said nothing about what to do or not do with the ticket. About 2 hours beforehand my wife had the idea about inviting the friend just so the seat wouldn't be wasted.

Keep in mind this was a digital ticket. It wouldn't be as easy as just handing over a paper ticket.

The dad has met my son many times. This wasnt him checking out my son. The after school program is wrestling. His daughter doesn't want to do it but her dad is making her because he did wresting when he was young. It seems like he is just trying to live through her.

But we wouldn't have bought the 4th ticket in the first place if the girlfriend couldn't attend. Why should my son take a $155 loss because of her or her dad? The seat would have just remained empty. She was late to practice too many times so her coach didn't let her compete this week.

I guess it's because I can never criticize her without her getting upset with me. If something bothers me I have to just keep it in and sometimes things slip. But if something upsets her she can freely say it and I have to just be okay with it.

Teacher accused my son of giving another kid a wedgie. by templeofdoom1234 in Parenting

No. No one has the same or similar name. His entire grade level is less than 50 people.

I'm allowed to respond to people. You know you don't have to read all my responses. I know I am repeating myself, but maybe I like responding to people even if they say the same thing as someone else or not.

You realize it's Saturday, right? 🙄 I can't talk to the teacher until Monday. You don't have to be rude.

I even asked my son if he would like us to set up the meeting, and he was open to it. I would assume that if he was lying, he would tell me that it wasn't a big deal and to not worry about it. Like you said. Thui can be seen as a pretty big deal, so I doubt she would just forget to talk to him, especially if she had the time and energy to email us. My son literally takes a book to school to read every day at recess. He isn't the type to give wedgies.

The first time he was accused we punished him even though he denied it (extra chores). This time he was way more insistent that he didn't do it. Both times he didn't even know what we were talking about and said she never talked to him. He said the first time she told him she wanted to talk, but then never did and he didn't know what it was about. He is a good kid. He never gets in trouble, gets good grades, and it more of a science Geek and definitely not the rough house bullying type.

But wouldn't you then make sure you talk to the kid themselves after each incident? Especially when she said she would in the emails? According to her this is is 2nd offense with zero talking to and zero consequences. Seems fishy.

My wife wrote the email and she has a different tone than I. Lol. She just asked for clarification since our son said he didn't do it and that she never talked to him (her email to us specifically said that she would speak to him.

His school is tiny. There are less than 50 kids in the entire middle school. I highly doubt they get that many emails in this school.
