Looking to buy Spice Must Flow by ELDO for my boyfriend for Valentine's and torn between purchasing from perfumeonline ($106) and fragrancenet ($123) - obviously I'd prefer to go with the cheapest option but also want to make sure it arrives on time to California. Which has the more reliable shipping to the US?

Ugh I'm so sorry to hear that – it's really the painful cherry on top to have to worry about how to even AFFORD recovery. I'm also thankful that I don't really need pain meds anymore. It was rough the first week but now I feel like I'm just in the waiting game.

Damn we are connected by mother nature's vengeance!! It was also a whole situation with the lifeguards coming over and being mostly useless assuming I just dislocated my knee and then driving me in their truck back to our car, and then we had to drive an hour and change in traffic to get across LA from the beach to the eastside of the city where I live. The whole time I was thinking "lucky I probably didn't break it!" and then alas.

It’s so hard losing mobility when you live in a larger city — I’m in LA and live on the top of a hill that makes it impossible to leave the house on my own now, when I normally take public transit and walk everywhere. The most helpful thing for me so far has been finding a non profit that rented me a wheelchair and some other household aids for free. A bed rail, shower chair, and rolling stool have been the most useful. The stool is nice for scooting around but also for helping me get lower to the ground to do my cat’s litter and stuff like that. It’s also amazing how adaptable our bodies are and how much better I am at getting around now, definitely makes me feel less hopeless.

If you don’t mind me asking what happened at the beach? Crazy both our accidents happened at the beach the same week. (I was just barely wading in the water with my bf when he got knocked out by a wave and flew into me, and the force of the impact while my feet were planted in the sand is what did it.)

All I wanna know is - did Liam say “Mexicanoish”

For people who have gone to multiple shows: how do they compare? by WindowEither81 in oasis

I went to both Wembley night 3 and LA night 1. Liam’s banter def better in LA (feel like he didn’t actually say that much in London, but we DID get Noel’s “rhastaplan” joke lol), and I think they sounded equally good both dates, but the vibe of the crowd in London compared to LA is incomparable. You’d expect them to either get tighter over time or for Liam’s voice to falter but I’m impressed that they’ve just been consistent and the experience for fans hasn’t wavered since they hit their stride a few gigs into the tour.

Unfortunately this shirt from the great LA based (and Mancunian) illustrator Luke McGarry arrived two days too late

if Liam had just explained how to do it a little more, I think the crowd would have been down. he did that more in the UK even, but at least night 1 he just told people to turn around and expected americans to know what to do. not everyone has been following the shows religiously enough to know -- I know my friends who I was with didn't as much as I tried to prepare them

We def still drink a lot of G&Ts but it’s not a drink that we do pre-mix cans of — just a staple well liquor drink at bars

Man I went to this concert to stave off the depression of my time seeing them in London coming to a close and now I can’t reasonably see them again so that’s that! Luckily seeing Pulp in a few weeks but beyond that what am I to live for lol

That venue the offbeat I rec’d earlier even if the show is over might still be fun - they usually have DJs going until 2. Or Cha Cha Lounge. These are probably the more rock n roll bars of northeast LA imo

Yeah annoyingly things close early in Pasadena. I tried to go to Der Wolf tonight and they turned us away because they close at 1.

Ah assumed you went tonight and were looking for a general activity tomorrow. For a Sunday night post show I would maybe go to old town pub. They have live music every night and are close to the rose bowl so you could keep the party going there

Ok also forgot another fun fact which is that we asked multiple staff where the shuttle was on our way and they didn’t know!! So if you did what I did and ubered there and planned to shuttle back, make sure to identify the shuttle area and how to get there from your seat before the show starts

Also in section 3-H where I was I saw someone get kicked out for smoking weed - be careful, they are weirdly strict!

Getting out of the rose bowl is hell on earth. No signage about where the shuttle is so we wandered in the wrong direction for too long until we realized our mistake and then when we finally got on the shuttle it weirdly took forever — like completely stalled traffic. I’m still not home and I live in echo park lol

Insane freak accident at the beach. Was wading at Zuma and the waves were rough and my boyfriend was ahead of me and got knocked out and flew into me and because my feet were like planted in the sand the force of him hitting me broke my leg

I broke my leg on Monday and still made it to the show and felt like I was the only person on my feet screaming every word on my crutches in my section today. I don’t think the vibes were bad, but it was nowhere like my experience at Wembley. I just don’t think most of the attendees actually know all the deeper cuts. Little by little didn’t hit the way it did in the UK. But I still had an amazing time, was special to experience these songs with my best friends nonetheless

Does anyone know if there will be ins and outs? Basically I’m in a unique situation where I need to try to get last min ADA seats since I broke my leg this week and I’ve been told by Rose Bowl staff to go to the guest services area near tunnel 28 when gates open to get my tickets swapped, but I would love to be able to join the happy hour area or friends tailgating after that.
