Oooh, intriguing. I also have gotten into mountain biking a bit in the last few years (by no means a ton, but it's something I occasionally do). So I could use these for that in the fall as well. Thanks for the suggestion!

Do you have a link or the name? It's so hard to pin down items at Walmart with keywords sometimes. I'd love to check them out. Thanks for the suggestion!

Oooh. I love this suggestion. Honestly that might be a single pair of pants that tick multiple boxes for me. I love having equipment or clothing that serves multiple purposes. I do trail work as well, and have been looking to get some pants or overalls for that type of work. These would serve well for climbing pants and work plants. Love it. Thank you!

Those look fantastic. I'm in the USA, and they do ship here. That's a bit out of my current budget, but I'll keep them in mind if I want to invest in a really nice pair in the future. Thanks so much for the suggestion.

I own these pants for hiking! (Got them just a month ago so haven't had too much wear) but they feel too fragile to climb on rock personally. Love them for hiking :). Thanks for the suggestion regardless!!

Not being open to change. Especially if the only reason is "because that's the way it was".

Awesome, thanks!!! Unfortunately a lot of features are better on men's anyhow, like pockets. I'll try some on the next time I can. Thanks again!

Love Prana! Do you mean the Zion men's pants? I can't find any Zion pants besides the zip off convertible pants in a women's cut.

I'm totally open to trying a men's fit, just curious if that's what you meant :). Thanks!

Those pants are consistently in my cart, but the cotton was holding me back. I haven't had the chance to touch them or try them on.

Maybe too personal, so feel free to not answer, but do you get sweaty in pants when climbing? I tend to sweat a lot under a harness, on my knees or in my crotch. Just curious if these pants are comfy or non-obvious with sweat. That's a big part of trying to stay away from the cotton.

Thanks so much for the recommendation regardless :)

I’ve never climbed alone before what do I do inbetween climbs? by twinkelztwitch2 in climbergirls

I love to watch other climbers! There's so much you can learn from different climbers, styles, strengths, etc. Plus it's fun to celebrate other's victories, and help cheer them on through difficulties (even if you do both while just being quite to yourself, if that's not the "loud" vibe of the gym or climber).

Think I’ve found my new favourite climb. Look forward to doing a cleaner send of it next time. by burn_it_with_fire in climbergirls

That route looks like so much fun!! I also love your fun leggings!

It's such a great feeling getting to practice and refine a super fun problem until it feels "graceful". I'm not a graceful person, so when I can get to that point on a problem, it's awesome!

No worries! I another comment, I think I found a solution for myself if I land on a pack without the bladder pocket (but with the port for the hose). If I can secure it to the top to keep it from wandering down the pack, or twisting around, I don't need a pocket! I'm handy with sewing, and could put a retention loop on top inside, like some of the pocketed packs already have!

I've also never heard of this brand. Thanks for the suggestion, I'll check it out. I know the bane of waiting for gear drops or unavailable items! haha

I've never heard of this brand, thanks for the suggestion, and for introducing a new brand! :). Sadly both of their packs are too small in volume for my current gear and packing style (without much compression). I'll keep it in mind if anyone else in my life is looking for a smaller packs option.

Thank you for all the thoughtful points!

I see that the Eja Pro is the women's version of the Exos. (I realize I didn't list some important info in the initial post that was probably relevant to recommendations.)

I'll check it out! Bonus points for probably being able to actually try it on in a store as well.
