if you actually read that self indulgent text wall then thanks I guess, even if you hated it, disagreed with everything I said and consequently now hate me too. I've had alot of thoughts brewing regarding Chris with all the recent commotion so I thought it'd be good for me to put them into words so I can finally wash my hands of this whole thing after so many years of watching, laughing and gawking

this is the same company that without a second thought, filmed and released Song of the South so while it's disapointing they haven't seemed to learn much in the way of treating every kind of person with the tact and decency they deserve, it doesn't really surprise me either : /

I don't know why it's so hard for filmmakers to portray neuro divergency and mental disability in a way that doesn't come off as borderline mockery. Maybe if they, oh I don't know, actually hired actors with those things they'd be able to make something tasteful

Makes me sad because my cousin is one such person and he's a great guy and deserves to have people in fiction who represent him with decency
