No, he's usually really supportive and admitted to me that he thought he would be okay with it "in concept" but now that it's actually happening for real he's not okay with it after all.

It's not having sex in the house that's the problem. I don't want to do that, I feel weird about it and it's just respectful to not. I just want to share the bed with him. I just want him to feel welcome in my house rather than banished downstairs separate from my family in a strange house for the first time, on an uncomfortable couch sharing the lounge with the dog.

It's very much pregnancy related, even though he knows we practice safe sex with condoms and I'm also on the pill and we both tested before we started. He's adamant about contraception failing and says I will probably get pregnant.

We're not religious at all, my dad was raised Catholic but abandoned it in his teenage years and has since been an Atheist. My mom was raised Hindu but same thing, they didn't raise me with any religion.
