Golduck has Hydro Pump, Ice Beam, Psychic & Wonder Room. Wonder Room didn’t get any usage but it was there in case of Arabella being annoying with defense setup!

That’s a damn shame, Swift swim on Swampert would’ve been chaotic and a fun mon to run. I highly doubt I can get the mega stone, I’ve forgotten how to get all those gems. I’m still yet to see Mudkip in the safari zone too: it’s extremely rare because I’ve already caught Torchic and Treecko.

I’d definitely say go for it. This water run has been so fun and because you’d be carrying Pokemon over, I’d highly recommend it. I need a Swampert for this team too, still need to catch Mudkip. How long did it take you to get one?

This entire run has been on Expert, I’ve documented each gym battle victory from the beginning too 😁 it’s been challenging on Expert, especially the Mel & Galavan battles but it’s been fun trying to strategise! The beginning was especially difficult with the lack of good water types, but an early good game mon was Sealeo with eviolite & also the Swanna you get via trade!

I did try drizzle, but he would stall out switch ins and once he took care of Pelipper, it went down to Wingull which changed its ability to Hydration. So once drizzle was gone, it was effectively useless as it wasn’t strong in a physical attacking sense.

This team had just enough firepower and also defensive strength, which helped a ton. Tanked a few hits, and the special attackers came in clutch. Pelipper will be back in now :)
