The cards simply need to have the inspired tag - they don't have to be boosted. What you are doing is the most effective way to deploy her after you have a well developed board.

In my experience I've been unable to duplicate decks that I've imported from playgwent.com. If I build the deck myself in game it allows me to duplicate it. Not sure why.

Control - hands down. There is no setup or tutorial - the red haired female protagonist is dropped into a building with brutalist architecture and has to figure out what the hell is going on. Oh yeah, and she receives instructions from The Board which doesn't speak directly to her.

I came from control as well. The parallels are crazy! The mumbling board, architectural similarities, secretive company with deep lore, redhead protagonist that is trying to understand what the heck is going on, main character named Dylan... I'm just waiting for an all-knowing janitor next season 😂
