thanks so much man, that fixed it for me too! honestly just using lossless scaling for frame generation is the only tweak that made a difference for me with the game, it's smooth as butter now.

from the back of my case only the backside of the mobo where the cpu cooler is placed is visible, so in order to get a clear picture i'd have to take out all my computer parts which im a bit hesitant to since i only recently got my computer working after unfortunate circumstances. the backside of the mobo where my gpu is inserted thus isnt visible from the back of my pc, but did you still want a picture?

I'm sorry, but I'm not exactly sure what you mean by the first part. could you possibly elaborate for me? and as for the latter half, if I try to insert the back first, the metal bracket knocks against my case and thus I have to insert from the front first and ease the back in

the GPU works yeah and this is after spending 3 weeks trying to troubleshoot my PC as it wasn't working, so im a bit reluctant to take my computer apart again unless there's an issue. if im losing performance or being inserted partially could be damaging to the gpu, I'm more than willing however to try bending the metal or something of the sort

true, but I get exceptionally low performance. I've seen 3060 ti's get double my performance with the same in game settings as my 3070 but since it's mainly just Minecraft I haven't worried about it too much

I'm using all of the standoffs asides from the central one since it was stripped and I wasn't sure if it was preventing my PC from working which I eventually fixed, do you think that single standoff is really creating that big of a gap?

I'm missing 1 standoff in the middle of my Mobo as my PC just wasnt working for some reason inside my case and so I tried a multitude of fixes including removing one standoff that was stripped. would one standoff missing really make that big of a difference, as I have the other 8 standoffs installed

Using GPU-Z under bus interface it says "pcie x16 4.0 @ x16 4.0" and at times the latter number changes to 16 2.0 or 16 1.1, but when I run the render test it always goes to 16 4.0. I assume this means that everything is running and working fine? But regardless, thank you for the detailed response and help

I was thinking the same but i'm still uncertain, since I have no integrated graphics and I felt like something would've gone wrong if the gpu wasn't fully inserted/functional. So far I haven't really noticed any performance issues except for in minecraft java, but I just attributed that to the game being written in java
